Serving the legal community, Tom is the immediate past-​President of the Summit County Association for Justice (formerly the Summit County Trial Lawyers’ Association). He is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice (formerly the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers) where he most recently served as Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Committee. He serves on the Workers’ Compensation and Lawyers’ Assistance Committees of the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association) and the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. He also belongs to the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group. Tom is a former Trustee of the Akron Bar Association and has participated on many of the Akron Bar’s Committees. He is presently active on the Workers’ Compensation Committee, where he is the Chairperson, and Lawyers’ Assistance Committee.
