I have stayed at this property off and on over the past 3 years. My longest stay being a month where I would return home on the weekends. My average stay is usually 2 weeks. I’d stay here for business travel only. This place has changed names and ownership several times and to be really honest, it has gotten worse and worse each time it has changed. This used to be a Residence Inn by Marriott and it was decent hotel when ran under the Marriott name, however things have changed and for the worse. I’ll keep this review to the point with pros and cons. PROS: — Cheap Daily Rates: I was able to get a room for $ 50 a night based on my longer stays. Usually if you stay over 7 days you can get some sort of discount. Average weekly stays will range from 90 to 120 a night(under 7 days). If you are staying a week, find another hotel! You can go to a newer, cleaner, more modern hotel such as the Double Tree or Hilton for 10 – 15 dollars more a night if not right near the same price as this place. — Full Kitchen: Though this kitchen is dated, it is a full kitchen and therefore if you don’t want to eat out every day at every meal, this is a great bonus. I’d remember to purchase your own dish soap and sponge. Pots and pans, cups, plates, and basic utensils are included. They also provide microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and full refrigerator. — Fire Places: Each suite has a fireplace, which is nice. — Location: Near a ton of shopping, walking distance to great eats, bars. Right off the freeway. — Staff: By all means appear to be nice, handle any and all concerns I had. — They allow animals — They have a laundry mat CONS: The Rooms: There are several room sizes and flavors here but they all feature the same old and dated furniture. Tube TV’s, Dirty couches with stains, cigarette burns, and who knows what else. Each room I have been in, which is all the layouts with the exception of one, has been on the dirty side. You can tell they rooms are cleaned, spot cleaned, but these rooms could use a deep cleaning. Some carry an odor while others don’t. I’ve seen dust, hair, mold, food, body fluids, and more in the rooms; from dirty stained sheets to a moldy shower curtain. These rooms are in need of a serious overhaul and are seriously hit or miss. Sometimes I get a room that appears clean, while other times I will get a room that is clearly dirty or has been emptied for some time. Carpets appear to be vacuumed sometimes and do not appear to have ever been shampooed. It’s to the point where I make sure I have socks or shoes on at all times in the rooms. Beds are not comfortable. I’ve seen several stained sheets, clearly that is just nasty, and overall these are really old beds and saggy. Bathrooms here can be pretty nasty, as mentioned above I found a huge section of mold on the shower curtain, bigger than a basketball, and I could not believe no one could have seen this. It took a day for them to come in and replace it. I’ve seen issues with fans not running and basic failures that can happen anywhere but seems to happen all the time here. Again all furnishings are really dated and old Stained, burned, and just very dirty. You know it is bad when you want to place a towel down to set on the couch. It honestly feels very dingy and dirty in these rooms. Outside/Common Areas: The outsides of the buildings need some new paint and appear to be falling apart. I’ve seen rusted doors(yes the actual door to your room), paint chipping all over the place, rotted/cracked wood and siding. They offer a breakfast which I’ve tried once and it was honestly horrible. Yes, it is free, but You will not catch me eating there again. Basic powder eggs, sausage, canned fruit, breads, cereal, juices, and short a very simple gathering of matter to be honest. Nothing seems to be fresh or tastes all that well. But hey, it is FREE. I’ve seen the same guests go there morning after morning. They must like it. They do offer wired and wireless internet. The wired is not too bad, you can conduct basic business. Wireless is very slow and the signal drops out a lot. Pool area is very small; the pool itself is nothing too insane. They had a spa but it is now cemented up. The fitness center is decent, but warning is in a 10×10 room. Overall, the place needs a big overhaul. It is in serious need of updating and modernization. It is just too beat and spent in my opinion.

We have stayed here many times before. First we stayed when it was a Residence Inn by Marriott and it was lovely. We have stayed twice since it has been a Stay Place and we will NOT return EVER. It has not been updated or cleaned since it was a Residence Inn. The first room that we were assigned to had a bad odor AND had fleas… yes, fleas. So they«upgraded» us to the penthouse suite. When we arrived there we were surprised to see that the stairs had massive amounts of dust on the stairs, dust all over the kitchen cabinets(and they are vertical), and stains ALL over the furniture and linens. In addition, the microwave did not work at all. We never ventured to the breakfast as we were a bit scared. I am not usually very particular, but this place was a disgrace!
