History

Established in 2013.

Kevin P, the founder and president of PrideStaff Akron purchased the Akron franchise in late 2013. Kevin has a long professional career in Northeast Ohio where he has worked in city government, and two large private corporations in various HR, Finance and Operations roles. Kevin is proud to bring an award winning staffing firm to Akron where he can continue to focus on delivering top line client and candidate satisfaction experiences to everyone PrideStaff serves. In 2015, PrideStaff Akron was recognized as a top tier performer according to an Inavero 3^rd Party Client and Candidate satisfaction survey. PrideStaff won its 6^th consecutive Best of Staffing Award, and the Akron office was recognized in the top tier of all PrideStaff offices.

Meet the Business Owner

Kevin P.

Business Owner

After growing up in Akron, Ohio, Kevin joined the U.S. Army and served on multiple international assignments. After leaving the military, Kevin earned his bachelors degree in human resources at the University of Akron and later returned to the books to earn his MBA. Kevin previously worked for two large corporations and a local city government where he was in senior management. During his tenure Kevin continued growing his HR career where he took on such challenges as running departments and managing expansions and reorganizations in a variety of Finance, Operations and Safety/​Security positions. Kevin also earned his SPHR and CPP certifications.

Kevin’s well-​rounded experience in all aspects of HR across so many private and public sectors makes him a great partner and consultant to his clients. Kevin’s focus is on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction while partnering with leaders to help solve their challenges.
