This is my rib dinner spot in Akron. Everything on the menu is always on point and the staff are super friendly. I really like the greens, mac & cheese, and cobbler here. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality of all the dishes and the portions are great. Don’t hesitate to pay this awesome spot a visit.

Decent. Got a rib tip Dinner, the ribs were barely seasoned but still not bad! The sauce was amazing but even after asking for extra it wasn’t enough. The Mac n cheese was ok, not the best in town though and they didn’t give me hot sauce for my greens that were mostly stems! It was just mediocre

Drove by around lunch time looking for gas and saw the grill outside smoking. That was enough to catch my interest and stop in. The young lady was very polite while taking my order. There isn’t a lot of room for seating they have two café style table and a bar along the wall. Everything here is home made and there’s a lot to choose from. Prices are exactly what I would expect.
Now for the food, It was wonderful. I had the fish dinner (whiting) with collards and yams. The fish was good and the breading crispy. The greens were in my opinion really good almost a very good and the yams were sweet and tasty. I also got a single rib bone because the bbq was what drew me into this place originally. The meet was tender and the sauce was sweet and tangy with a slight bite to it. All and all I don’t know that I will ever be back in this area but I will never forget my experience. Hope others have the same.

Easily the number one rib joint in Akron. While there is close competition in Cleveland, as far as Akron goes, you don’t want to miss out on Pammie’s. The rib sauce is spicy, tangy, and thick. Most importantly, the food is all fresh. From their greens to their coleslaw to the ribs themselves, everything tastes like it was cooked right at home. There is no place to sit inside and eat so this place is a «to go» only business. That doesn’t take away from its rating. 5 stars all the way!
