I was very please to find Mama Rosa’s again. They were on Tallmadge Ave and now they are on State Road in Cuy Falls. They have the best chicken in the Akron Area. My husband and I both get 4 piece all white(two breast and two wings — throw the wings away). The chicken is cooked to order so plan ahead if your in a hurry it takes about ½ hour. I don’t like their Jo-Jos but the fries are quite good. I love their meatball subs. The pizza is just ok.

This place has relocated to 2457 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls. Service is terrible. I ordered and paid for two cheesesteak deluxe subs. Supposed to come with cheese, onions, mushrooms and peppers. Got home and the sandwiches had nothing but meat on them – not even cheese. They seem very disorganized and slow. If they can’t get a basic order right, I won’t be back.

Only thing positive is the cheap price. I’ve been to other mama rosa locations where the pizza was actually pretty good too… But not this location. Felt like I was eating cardboard.

I love this place. Mama Rosa’a has the best pizza deal in the Akron area. For $ 3.99 you can get a large 12″ pizza. They have a good zesty sauce and a good selection of toppings to choose from. They also have some good pizza and chicken combos that can feed your family and not break your budget. If you don’t feel like going out they can deliver! This has been my go to dinner spot for me and my boys(single full time father!) when time doesn’t permit for cooking our own dinner. Great food!

Living in North Hill, it’s hard to find a pizza joint that will brave the bullets and drug dealers to deliver to my home. Or so they say. Mama Rosa’s is the exception, perhaps because they’re in North Hill as well. Moma Rosa’s is known for the $ 3.99 large pizza special. Let’s just say you better order two. A large is a 12″, and the crust is razor thin, and the toppings are Siberia sparse. But still, even a pizza per person is a pretty decent deal. They’ve also got some deep fried goodies, which seems to be the norm for pizza joints in Akron. Wings and Jo-Jos(oh yes Jo-Jos… MMMMmmmm!) are both good and deliverable. A phone call gets you Jo-Jos to your door. God bless civilization! Even if the other effects of civilization mean some poor fucker’s stuck braving the bullets and drug dealers of North Hill to deliver me potato wedges.
