Lube Stop

There are 3 bays that have cars in them. All I need is a e check/​oil change and I still haven’t gotten in any of the bay’s in OVER AN HOUR. I understand things come up, but being 45 minutes off an estimate to time to start is unacceptable. No one has stopped out to apologize for this enormous delay. 4 cars behind me have already left. I did the same. Poor business. No customer service.

I have been here on at least 4 separate occasions. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt before finally writing my review, but my last experience sealed the deal about how I feel about this place.
Overall, the people working there on each of my experiences have been rather curt and very unwelcoming. I also consider their services to be overpriced. A rather peculiar annoyance about this place is that While

Obnoxious and Annoying I can’t understand why every action taken by a tech needs to be bellowed by several other people and why it all needs to be checked and approved by at least two other techs. This draws out the process and makes it take an especially long time– Oil
Changes should take 10 – 15 min max, not 30 minutes, especially at an «express»

Location. I called and spoke to the manager and he apologized and even admitted that this had happened before. but said he would not Do anything in terms
Of a coupon of free service In exchange for the Trouble. He also said he couldn’t pay me for the cost of the mechanic who fixed HIS teams error.
As a result of this past issue, under no circumstance will I be back to any Lube Stop franchise location, especially this one.

I’m not a customer but a woman who lives in the neighborhood. I was walking past the Lube Stop and the men who were working there today seemed to have some free time on their hands. They chose to spend it hollering at people across Market Street at the Circle K gas station. They seemed to be making derogatory noises aimed at a overweight woman and then laughing amongst themselves. Is this how the company wants to be represented?

This Lube Stop would have been a 5-​start review a month ago. I’d never had a bad experience in 8 years here… until last month when I stopped in for an oil change and a tire rotation on my SUV. 90 minutes later — with no wait — I was leaving the 10-​minute oil change spot after having to remind them to check the tires, lube the hinges and check the fluids.
I hope my next trip back returns to the glory days of service here. More to come!

I know it’s probably frowned upon in Unilocal!circles to review franchises, but this particular Lube Stop is the BEST place in AK-​Rowdy to get your oil changed and most fluid maintenance. More than anything else, when I move out of Akron, I will miss these guys.
They really do take fantastic care of my car. My 15 year old, 206k+ miles car. I’m sure you can go online and find out exactly what they check every time I go it, but all I know, is that when these fellows say I’m good for a 1000+ mile trip to NC, I trust them. Oh, and they’re wicked fast (unless you have an older car like mine for which they have to retrieve an air filter from someone else). I could get an oil change and a bagel on my lunch half hour.
Oh. And they’re ridiculously good-​looking. Ladies, there is NO reason to not get your oil changed now.
