History

Established in 2009.

I started baking & decorating cakes almost 30 years ago for the sheer enjoyment of it. Much of my early training came from my grandmother’s kitchen, licking spoons while I watched her work her magic.

It was amid those wonderful aromas and delicious flavors that I realized that everyone loves and welcomes a great homemade dessert!

Years later, as a music industry professional, I learned the value of catering with a creative twist while planning listening parties for

Warner Bros. recording artists such as Rod Stewart, Madonna, R.E.M., Seal, Adam Sandler, The Goo Goo Dolls, Van Halen and Prince.

In my spare time I honed my cake design skills by taking classes and baking for parties and events for family and friends.

In 2009 I could not resist the challenge of being an entrepreneur and doing what I love full time. It was time to use my creative abilities on custom creations. I launched Life of the Party Cake Design!
