Kenmore Komics & Games

This is probably the best comic shop in town (granted, there are only two). The other shop in town isn’t bad by any means, but Kenmore is simply fantastic in a vacuum.
The owner, John, is super friendly and very knowledgable. Prices are fair. The actual store is huge! I haven’t explored past the «new release» rack, which is located right in the front. Nonetheless, the store is very deep and appears to have a vast collection of older comics and other merchandise.
Also of note, comics that might be sold out at the other place mid-​day on a Wednesday release are, typically, still in stock at Kenmore later in the day.
I swing by most Wednesday’s after a full day classes. It’s a nice treat, not just for the comics available but the overall atmosphere that Kenmore Komics cultivates.

There are a few comic book stores in Akron area and Kenmore is the best in my opinion. They have a good selection and the staff is knowledgeable. If you can’t find it from the shelf, they’re willing to order for you. Prices are not too bad. They also have some comics on sale.
