Jo Ann’s Professional Touch

Seeing this deal on LS for Jo Ann’s Pro Touch was a blessing, we were looking to hire a new cleaning person. I bought a package for «3 hours of cleaning up to 3,000 SQFT».
I was excited, saw great reviews on her website so I wanted to get started. I called, left a message, never got a call back. Let 2 weeks go by — called again. Woman was rushed. I gave my info, sqft, bed, bath, all of that. My house is half of the 3,000sqft. The cleaning person was not at my house any longer than 2 hours (I’m inclined to believe an hour, as I told she would be there at 12 and was leaving at 1 when I came back home).
What she managed to clean: half of my kitchen counter, and sweep the floor on the main level of the house (living room and kitchen). She dusted my dining table and coffee table. She cleaned my two tiny bathrooms (one of which we don’t really use so it wasn’t like it needed major attention). That was it. Really? I could have done that, why did I shell out $ 60?
What she didn’t manage to clean — the other half of the kitchen counter (smudges and soap reside from the soap container that she picked up were still there). The hardwood floors (I assumed they would at least be swept, every other cleaner has managed that). She did managed to leave a puddle of water on my bedroom hardwood floor. She didn’t dust a dresser, table, shelves (which are very much eye level) or even step foot on the lower level.
Their gift to me was a lovely rag that she left sitting on my front porch, I’m sure she dropped it in her hurry to get out and move on to next job.
I emailed the contact number back for Jo Ann and her response — nothing. No response, and I know it went through as all my other emails have gone through to her in the past getting everything set up, so it’s not like I ended up in spam.
All in all — VERY disappointed. Thanks to the good folks at LS who understood my disappointment and credited me the money I spent. They will get my business again, this lady sure wont.
