Established in 1989.

Owner, Rick Hartman started servicing homeowners construction needs in 1989 after graduation from Ellet High School. He started with landscaping projects and advanced into residential roofing and remodeling interiors. Rick chose to name the company after his lovely daughters; Courtney and Sammi. Based in Akron, Ohio C & S caters to the needs of customers right here in NE Ohio. In 25 years of business we have increased our staff from 5 to over 60 skilled craftsman and diversified the services we can provide for customers.

Business Owner

Rick Hartman is the owner and hardest working team member of C & S Roofing and Rehab LLC. To meet him is like meeting an old friend. He is eager to please not just his customers but also the other members of his team. Rick is also an upbeat, outgoing, friendly man who emulates the saying «There are no strangers, just friends you haven’t met yet».

Rick spends his free time enjoying his wife and their three daughters. He is also a very proud grandfather and is eager to show off her pictures whenever someone is will to look. He also enjoys listening to «the Oldies» with his pop and taking his mom to concerts whenever possible Rick, his family, his crew and their families are rooted in NE Ohio and it is because of this that drives him to provide the best service to his community and neighbors.
