These people are scram artists and take advantage of people in need. The quote on the phone was $ 15.00 for the service charge then starting at $ 35.00 for what I thought was a car lockout. My young daughter was charged $ 140.00 to have her 2000 Mitsubishi unlocked that already had the windows cracked and it took 3 minutes to unlock! When I called later to complain about the overcharge I was told they quoted what their lock outs start at and sometimes they are small safes or bathroom doors… he knew I was calling on a car. I’m reporting them to the BBB.

From one consumer to another, avoid this business like the plague. Case in point: I had lost the keys to my car and needed a replacement made. The frugal shopper will always shop around look for the best deal, am I right? So as I do diligence, I find that 24⁄7 mobile locksmith(from this point on referred to as 24⁄7) quoted me the best price($ 160); better than the auto dealership($ 170). Although the price stated to me was«NOT» fixed, I figure to expect the technician to give me some ‘spcheal’ about how he’s going to have to add on a few bucks for what ever reason he pulls out his a$$. I get it, it’s the nature of the business. I weigh the pros and cons and figure in the fact that they’re coming to me and I wouldn’t have to get my car towed down to the dealership which would be free anyways because I have Triple A. So I write off the extra bucks to «Convenience». So the technician arrives an hour late and gives my car the once over. What he’s looking at, I couldn’t tell ya. I call it «Hollywood’ing». He says, «Ok my friend, it’s going to be $ 230» HAHAHA! In my head I’m giving him the BIRD. A 44% increase… fuuuuuuucccckkkkkkk yooooouuuuuuuu! I tell the guy no… i was quoted @ $ 160. He says in his Zohan voice, «no no no no no this is the starting price.» I told him I know that but what I want to know is where is this extra $ 70 coming from. He says, my trunk doesn’t have a key entry to make the copy from.(SMH) Are you kidding me? So I tell the guy the dealership is going to do it for $ 170, why would i pay $ 230. I need to start a new paragraph because this is good; well it is funny to me. HESAYS… the dealership won’t do it for $ 170.(Zohan voice) I laugh again and can only think of the movie. «SONYGUTS» :watch the movie«Zohan» and you’ll get it. I should have got the dealership on the phone and have them repeat to him what they said. oh well… I repeat, I have Triple A and the tow wouldn’t cost me shit. So I tell him, no good. Have a nice day. So he realizes, I’m no push-over and he’s about to have wasted his time coming out here and quickly changes his tune. We settle for $ 180 which again… I’m more than comfortable with but instead of 2 keys like they advertised, he only gave me one key. I CALLEDOFFICETOCOMPLAIN and they said I had to resolve the issue with the technician. The guy wasn’t going to budge on the extra key so I let it go. The reason why the key is sooooo expensive is because of a transponder it has in it. WhooptyDoo! Just another reason to jack up the price. So in closing, don’t deal with 24⁄7 or you’ll be in for a headache. They’re just a broker for these schmucks they send out to you and could care less about the costumer. Signed, Scrappy COCO!
