Specialties
We will do whatever we can to meet our customers’ needs. We serve breakfast and lunch, and have dinners to go. We have space in our dining room that can be reserved for large parties, and more than enough space for regular dine-in business. We are also completely local, and have been family-owned since 1993. If anyone has questions, concerns, critiques, or praise, we are always more than happy to hear them out, and reply to whatever is communicated to us. We are here to serve!
History
Established in 1993.
What’s Cookin’ was opened by David Poplin and Tony Johnson in 1993. Originally it was strictly catering, with a small number of casseroles and desserts to-go. Over time, the business expanded to include a wide variety of take-out salads and dinners, desserts, and a few tables to dine at inside the store. In 2015, it expanded into some of the next-door business space, and went from 2 tables in the storefront to seating 80 people throughout. David Poplin is still the owner today, and the family works at, and helps manage the business as well. We take pride in being local and family-owned for over 20 years.
