Quality Inn & Suites

No problems with our room, as far as things working. This is a old hotel with a updated look on the outside. Our room was very small an just looked and smelled old. Lighting in the bathroom was poor to fair. They claimed free wifi for Internet, but half the time we was here there was none.
The noise level from other rooms opening an closing doors was so loud it was like they was beating on our door opening it.
A free breakfast is provided, not to bad. The coffee would melt a nail if you can get past all the coffee grounds.
If you looking for a plea to sleep a few hours before hitting the road again, you may like this place. Now if you need rest run as fast as you can to another hotel…

Trust me, stay away! So we checked in earlier and ran back out. Got back to the room around 6 and the A/​C isn’t working. So we can the desk. They send up a guy who’s rude, unhelpful and downright unpleasant. He proceeds to tell is that this is the best this A/​C is going to do. So we ask him to move us to another room. His reply is that well all we had is one double bed room (note that we asked for this room type at check in and were told there were none). So I said great, we would take it. He then looks around the room and says well sorry, since you’ve already messed up the room we can’t move you (kid plopped on the bed messing it up and we used A towel). Seriously!!! It’s 90 degrees out and your a/​c isn’t working (sweat dripping down my back not working) and you won’t switch us!!! We then request a refund and his reply is that he already charged us and doesn’t know how to refund us (he wasn’t the person who checked us on AND she told me they wouldn’t charge the card til morning). So now he says he will have to call a manger (none are onsite apparently) and leaves. So my sister pulls up her bank account, only to find that they charged her card for the room, charged the $ 20 pet fee which I have them MY card for to her card as well. AND on top of it, charged a 3^rd charge for the total of both again!!! So I log into my acct and low and behold, they charged MY card the $ 20 pet fee too!!! So now we are stuck in a room with no a/​c in SC in the worst part of summer and have been double charged for the room and triple charged for the pet fee, dealing with an u helpful employee who’s contradicting everything the lady who checked us on said. Oh! And in looking at reservation, it says the pet fee should only be $ 15 so they triple charged us AND overcharged us!
Oh and while writing this, while my sister is downstairs on the phone with the «manager on duty» who is in another state on vacation, the manager says he refuses to move us to the other room because no one is here to clean our current room and that he’s sending up someone to replace our entire A/​C unit… While were in it… At 7pm at night… When we should be out grabbing dinner so we can be in bed because we have to be out the door by 6am.
Not to mention that we keep catching them in lies. The desk guy told us he couldn’t see the multiple pet fee changes. But then suddenly could after the manager on the phone told him to refund 2 of them. The desk guy also originally said that no one was here to look at the A/​C, just him, then when the manager on the phone told him to swap out the unit suddenly there’s a maintenance guy on site!
Stay away. Far far away!

This is an old hotel. There’s an odor in the room. The carpet is stained, the bed sinks in the middle, the pillows are midget sized and it generally looks run down. The breakfast area is nice and the bar is updated and newer. Staff is friendly however.

This motel is in the process of being updated. We got a new room and it was clean and everything works. A good value for the money. Pet friendly.

I may be an older hotel property that was bought and a name change added. Any upgrade or remodeling to the rooms seems to be superficial. The water pressure from the sink was high enough to splatter water everywhere.
The shower head looks like it was a $ 4 replacement from Walmart and spray 30% of the water out of the threads. In order to flush the toilet you had to flush several times. Overall not a Quality, Quality Inn.
