Their Kiwi Strawberry… Best… Smoothie…Ever. The food is not only great tasting but healthy. The service is amazing. They treat you like family here. Amazing place here

This isn’t the biggest tropical smoothie that I have been to but it is very clean. The crew that works there are super friendly and prepare the orders fast. One guy came from behind the counter to interact with my son, which he loved. We got a jetty punch, chocolate chimp, a blimey limey, and the Caribbean luau flatbread which were all incredible. We will definitely be back here again.

I was SUPEREXCITED when I saw were were getting a Tropical Smoothie because my bff in Vegas would go there everyday after work and was always telling me how yummy they are. It took me a few minutes to find the place as they didn’t even have a sign up yet the first time I went by. They’re in the shopping center behind Trina’s Beauty Supply. When I’m in the mood for something«healthy» and«light» I head to tropical smoothie because their sandwiches, wraps, and flatbreads’s have a tone of veggies in them. Veggies = healthy even if they’re wrapped in carbs and have ranch dressing on them… ahem. Anyway I usually get the Thai Chicken Wrap and a smoothie.(Usually something mango-y.) They have a meal deal where you can chips and a drink with your sandwich/wrap and you can upgrade to a smoothie for like $ 2 more or something. The service can be a little slow… the crew here is most definitely on Hawaiian time and they often chat with customers and each other as they take orders. I really like their food but I think the smoothies from Robeks in Pearlridge are more to my liking. Maybe it’s because I think as a «tropical» smoothie place they should have papaya and passion fruit flavors on their menu. But I still try to get out here once in awhile, and I would take my friends here for a lunch date in A-town!

Tropical Smoothie Café was recommended by a friend. I went without hesitation as I was on the craving for a refreshing, cold, healthy type of drink. This is probably as healthy as it gets without having to wash the dirt off the fruit yourself! I came with my friend — we ordered the Goji Berry and Health Nut smoothies — honestly, first time here, I wouldn’t be surprised if you are thrown off by the list/mix of ingredients that goes into making these smoothies! I was. HOWEVER, be adventurous and just try it! Because sometimes it’s the weirder things in life, that are the finer things in life… these two smoothies were absolutely delicious! Full of flavor, and refreshing, it’s all I could ask for in a smoothie… As a previous review stated… I also do not feel like crap after! That is a huge plus in my book! They also offer delicious looking sandwiches and wraps that I have yet to try. The prices are all reasonable! Staff is also friendly. Give this place a try!

This place and the VIBE is awesome! One can tell immediately on entry that this is a special place. Sadly, I was working in the area so it’s not close to home or the office for me. However not everyone has that issue :-) The ALOHA spirit in the place is super evident and owner Teddy Wells obviously really cares about what he does. I am SO glad that my iPhone told me to come here instead of seeking out a faceless sterile Jamba Juice chain… Keep on keeping it real ANDGOOD Teddy! Mahalo!!!

Look up the definition of awesome and you will be reading about Tropical Smoothies. The food was excellent, the smoothies were thick and flavorful, but most importantly, the service was out of this world. I have lived on the island for over a year and go out to eat at least 3 – 4 times a week and this was hands down the most courteous service I have ever received. The fact that it’s very affordable doesn’t hurt, either.

I found out about this place through a friend of mine. I think I find a lot of places because of my friends. The food is extremely healthy. Healthy in a good way. Whenever I get a sandwich and salad combo which is the paradise combo, I get the italian and southwestern salad I think? Well for the price its great! The full salad’s should have a little bit more portion in my opinion. After I eat here I don’t feel like crap. I feel full, energized, and great! I don’t feel guilty about eating here at all. Finally their smoothies… We took a chance at the Bahama Mamma… Honestly… One of thee best smoothies I’ve tasted in my life. Top 10 on my list for sure!!! Try it out! Its kind of hard to find but just google it! I recommend the paradise combo with a half sandwich and half salad. Or the salad and a smoothie with obviously Bahama Mamma as your choice!

Looking for refreshing, healthy and D-licious food at a great price sold by the best brothers on the island? Look no further! Tropical Smoothie Aiea is a wonderful destination for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Only the freshest ingredients are served and it shines through in everything you eat! The smoothies are inventive, island friendly, tasty beyond belief, filling and a fantastic value for your buck! Lunch specials are phenomenal! I could not believe the amount of food you get for the money! There is mixed options and although you may think half of a sandwich or salad would not be enough, the addition of a smoothie makes this a healthy and filling option even for the hungriest of guests! I cannot say enough about how fresh and delicious the food is! I have yet to have anything I haven’t just LOVED! The wraps are phenomenal, the sandwiches creative and oh so good, and the salads provide a new meaning to gourmet light fare! To top off the food, the wait staff and owners are always friendly, talk great story and greet and see you off with smiles! You can take your food to go, have it catered, or order it but I like sitting in the quaint café and enjoy the company and good vibes that come from this little place with big returns! It is hidden in the shopping mall, but DON’T GIVEUP!!! Go in, have a meal, enjoy the free coffee and Wi-Fi(just ask the staff for the password), talk story and you will come to love this hidden jewel in the tropics!

So we like smoothies, and Jamba Juice got rid of the one blend I liked(Orange Berry Blitz), so we saw this sign and tried it — great! They’ll pretty much make whatever you want, too. Today was my second smoothie from them, and I asked if they’d do a special mix with a substitute on one of their menu blends, and they said sure! Perfect! Now today we ate there for the second time for lunch as well. Great tasty sandwiches. I saw others on Unilocal like the chicken pesto flatbread — good choice. My wife got the chicken walnut cranberry salad sandwich — also very good. Lots of others I plan to try — a decent sized menu with lots of choices. So go find this place down below Moanalua Road, catty corner across from Aiea Shopping Center and down below the Shell gas station. They usually have a sign on the sidewalk on Moanalua to point you down there on Kauhale.

One of my favorite places to eat. Slightly tucked away in the complex, but it’s such a great find. Google Map it, you won’t regret the trip. Food is fresh & flavorful, staff is helpful & kind, prices are beyond reasonable. I highly recommend the Chicken Pesto Flatbread, love their flatbreads & the chicken is awesome. If you’re up to try a different kind of smoothie, I liked the Blimey Limey, not your typical smoothie. It may not be for everyone, but I liked it, it’s rare to find something with such a uniquely fresh after taste(gotta be the lime). Other great menu items are the: Buffalo Chicken Wrap or the Chicken Parmesan Flatbread. In case you’re wondering, I am not affiliated in any way to the company… If we had an In-N-Out in Hawaii, I’d be just as enthused to write that review as well. Now go check them out for yourselves!

I felt like eating something healthy since I’ve been eating holiday food the past week, so I stopped by Tropical Smoothie Café. I was surprised by how reasonable the prices are. I had a Mediterranean grilled flatbread sandwich for $ 5 and it was really good… had hummus, tomato, yellow peppers, parmesan, field greens… really filling. I could probably have done without the balsamic vinaigrette but otherwise I thought it was such a good snack for $ 5. The staff is super friendly and the customer service is stellar. I want to go back to try the chicken pesto grilled flatbread sandwich and even though I’m not a smoothie person, I might try one of those too.

I ordered the Chicken Pesto Wrap and the signature salad for my 18 month baby. The wrap was really yummy… the flat bread was not heavy and the pesto was fresh and warm. I helped my daughter finish her salad. Everything on the salad was fresh and tasty, light yet filling. The ambience was bright, fun and cozy. I will definitely be back to try more things on their menu.

I live in A town and saw there poster/banner so I just had to check this place out. Some of couple of my co-workers said that they always went to this place when it was open back in the Ala Moana/town area. It wasn’t hard to find which is right inside the Aiea Shopping plaza area next to the J&J liquor store. They have their menu outside which is cool so that you don’t have to go inside to get it. I didn’t know what to get because they had so many good stuff that look good to drink and eat on the menu. I just got a Hawaiian breeze tropical smoothie. I tasted very tropical and fresh. They only have one size for their smoothies which isn’t too bad I guess. Their sandwiches look bomb which I have to try one day. The café looks really tropically, neat, and clean. They have a TV up and the guys like watching sports. The dine in area is decent. The staff and customer service are cool. The parking is aight. They have calorie counts posted up on some of the smoothies Unilocal 365 Challenge #86/365

It’s finally open and I can’t be more thrilled. I don’t want to insult you if you like Jamba juice… but if you do. Just come and have a real fruit smoothie here. Sandwiches and wraps are always good. Great friendly service. Did I mention how excited I am?

Have always loved this place since i been to the one in the mainland. The owner of this place is nice guy and business man. Unlike many other food chains that hike up the prices when coming to hawaii to take care of the Overhead these guys didn’t they stayed true to the prices that are offered in the mainland. The Smoothies are a lot fresher than Jamba and they have a full menu of healthy wraps, sandwhiches, and salads. Overall this place is a must if you in the area or across the island. I rarely write long reviews like this but i think this place deserves some spotlight because what they offer OAHU.
