Took my daughter here last night for a trim and was very happy with the service provided by Jason. He was quick and efficient and personable. Mahalo Jason!

Monica has been cutting my hair for many years now she is a true professional and a asset to your company. She continues to exceed my expectations!

I cannot say enough nice things about the people here.
I was having last minute photos taken and they were able to fit me in to curl my hair. I was also upset at how the woman from Macy’s did my makeup and they offered to help fix that up for me too. With their own personal makeup. That was above and beyond. Such great, kind-​hearted people there.

I was confident I’d leave satisfied having read the reviews for this place, which are mostly good. I was serviced by Aida (Ida?) and I didn’t leave quite happy with my haircut. Albeit, it was very quick but I had to repeat what I wanted about four times.
My hair was already short, barely grazing my shoulders. I had a very short asymmetrical bob-​esque cut done in August (elsewhere) and the back had grown out a lot; as a result, I wanted it trimmed really short — «short in the back, long in the front.» The stylist didn’t cut my hair to length I wanted, even after I had indicated and showed her the length I wanted. She also left a chunk of hair on the right side of my head (the shorter side) longer in the back than in the front (which is the exact thing I wanted fixed), so my hair isn’t as fluid as I envisioned. I told her that I wanted my hair to be matched to the shortest section of my hair (by my right cheek) and start from there, gradually cutting less so it would blend into the longer hair on the left side of my face. She said, «no sense cutting it since it’s so short already,» and actually didn’t cut it! Even though I asked her multiple times to do so. Regretfully, I gave up pseudo-​arguing with her so I could just leave asap. She also said «we can cut more if it isn’t short enough» but as soon as /​she/​was done, she cleaned up my hair and signaled to me that our appointment was over, not even giving me the opportunity to tell her — again — that I wanted the back trimmed.
This place gets good reviews and the other people seated around me today seemed pleased. I’m not writing this place off just yet — but I don’t think I’ll be keen on working with the same stylist if I go back. Maybe she was just having an off day?

The first time I went last year, i think it was a weekday, so the wait wasn’t long at all. The guy that cut my hair was friendly and cut my hair surprisingly quickly.
I went again last night – which was a weekend – and the wait was about 30 minutes. The lady that cut my hair was nice, but I felt like she was taking her sweet time. But then again, she was older so perhaps that’s why.
Anyways, I guess it just depends on who you get. Regardless, they did what I asked – which was a haircut – so I’m content.

Krystal is the bomb she is so good, everytime I have anything done, I am so totally happy. She understands what I what, and does it exactly. I have been to many stylists and never happy until I found Krystal. I was bummed when I heard she had left. I tried others but was unhappy. Now shes back and I’m so happy. Thank you Krystal you are my stylist for life.

It’s nice to find a place that my entire family can go to for a great haircut and count on the same stylist still being there. The chain hair places might save you a buck or two, but I’ve found them to be hit or miss on good results and they usually have high turnover. My wife, daughter and I use Chau and she’s fantastic. Very professional and courteous, and pays great attention to detail.

Very disappointing experience. Went to style my hair & ended up nothing, the hairdresser doesn’t know how to do curls. Paid 36bucks for nothing! Waste of money!

Excellent service and good customer service. If a stylist isn’t comfortable with your cut they’ll recommend you to another stylist. I came for a trim for my man bun and eye brow wax with Melanie and she’s fantastic! Thanks Mel! :)

I’ve been going to mastercuts for about a year now. It’s not a bad place to go to, but it is a hit or miss kind of thing. I’ve gotten my hair cut by almost everyone about two times. There are a few people who I would let cut my hair, the others kind of either messed up my hair, butchered it, or didn’t cut my hair to what I told them I wanted. I actually had to go back one time for them to fix my hair. It was really bad. Probably never letting that stylist touch my hair again. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is alright. It is kind of warm in the place. I always find myself sweating a little. It’s very convenient and find myself spending an average of 35 minutes for a haircut. I suggest requesting certain stylists though. Overall with the right stylists I would recommend this place

I overall liked my visit. Bobbi did my hair and she was really great! She asked questions to make sure there wasn’t any miscommunication about what I wanted and I really just liked everything! You can’t tell in the picture but the way she cut my hair was exactly or even more than what I wanted or expected. Got a lot of my split ends gone and the amount that was trimmed was perfect! Added curls cause of my boyfriends graduation, the curls were smaller than I expected but that’s alright. I highly recommend Bobbi! She will make you feel very comfortable

My daughter finally got to so something special to her hair. Her hair stylist is Monica D. and she loves how it turned out. Thanks again Monica. The staff is very friendly and awesome customer service. Monica was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were satisfied. Since we were there so long we got to see the interaction between the staff and the customers… very spirited staff and helpful… kudos.

Have been coming to Marilyn where ever she goes… now at MasterCuts the atmosphere here is great! The workers are friendly and i always get my appt… i am always pleased with my color and cut. tho i have to be here nearly 4hrs due to the hair type i have its well worth the time

It was my first time coming to master cuts to get my hair cut. I usually go to fantastic SAM, so glad I came here. All the stylist was polite and friendly. I walked in had no wait. My stylist was Rudi he cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. First time I didn’t walk out disappointed. I’ll definitely be back!

I love this place! Jason does my hair and today I finally did my ombré I am so loving my hair Mahalo Jason and Monica for always giving wonderful service.

I really do enjoy going to this Pealridge Mall location to do my hair. I have received superb customer service here. The hairstylist here all have great personalities and do make me feel welcomed.
Im usually not one to make appointments as my schedule does not permit it. I usually do a walk in and immediately get taken in. Huge stars for that.
The Prices here are very decent than most places.
My favorite hairstylist here are Monica D. and Jason.
I really love the way Jason highlights hair. His highlighting techniques are very neat and organized. Couple months ago he took me blonde and I was very satisfied with the results. He is very talented, friendly, and honest. He really knows how to do hair.
On my most recent visit, I was starting to miss my dark roots and decided to walk in to see if I could go from blonde to something closer to my natural color.
I walked in around 6:30 pm and was very surprised that Monica D. was able to take me in. I asked her if she could take me darker and I showed her a few different pictures of different colors I would like my hair color to be.
I showed her pictures of hair that were dark auburn and golden brown colors. I really couldn’t decided what color I wanted. Monica was able to put together a formula that made my hair a nice auburn color which faded a bit into a dark auburn and brown color.
Ive been getting nothing but compliments of the color.
