The girls that work there are really nice and the drinks are really good. Nothing exciting, just average boba and smoothie. Good place to come if that’s what you’re into.

Thought i’d give it a shot. I was not pleased with the outcome. My order was a mess from the very beginning. I received the drink with a hard custard shaped in a circle. i was not able to break it up at the bottom of my drink as it was hard. The lychee jelly was extremely sour. The taste of the drink was just not there… I think i will stick to my regular tea spot. I got the winter melon.

This place is aaaahhhmazing!!! I was visiting from California and went here with my son and friend who’s a local and their Acai Bowls are DA BOMB!!! We have Vitality Bowl in the mainland which is good, but I think this place is waaaay bettah! So refreshing. I love the mix of fruit and granola/​almonds which gives it a good balance. Cashier is also really sweet and nice.

Hawaii Partea serves a variety like bubble tea, smoothies, Halo Halo, and Shave Ice. The Bubble Teas can be customized by sweetness level, toppings, and sizes. The 2 sizes that are offered are Medium and Large.
Food Review:
1) Almond Bubble Tea with Lychee Jelly:
My boyfriend got the Almond Bubble Tea with lychee jelly. He said it tasted more like almond which he liked. When I tasted his drink, it tasted more like Lychee jelly.
2) Taro Milk Tea with mini and large honey Bobba:
I got the Taro Milk Tea which tasted like your standard taro bubble tea. It wasn’t thick and it was very easy to drink. The sweetness was average. The large boba was chewy which I didn’t like, but the mini bobba was soft which I liked. The Taro Milk Tea had a black tea base, but it tasted like your standard bubble drink.

Disappointed in this shop. I had high hopes for this place. Customer service was very poor (I felt rushed to leave before closing we were told twice to leave before 8:00) in the end and my tea tasted very bland and watered down. I know sweetness is a preference to different people but even the «tea» flavor was hardly distinguishable from the cream /​honey. I was not happy with their service. Will not be coming back.

Bubble drinks are so good! I love how much flavor is in it, and I love the different choices they have!

Was looking for someplace to have dessert and we stopped yup check it out. Omg!!! Gelato for $ 2.50 a scoop, what a deal!!!
Gonna definitely drop by again to try other stuff! =)

Thanks for your response, Linda M. My answer is simple, I got very busy over the past couple of months and was unable to post until now. To be fair, I made it very clear in the first sentence of my review that my visit was 2 months ago so that readers will understand that my review is strictly based off of my personal experience from that time. If the equipment and recipes have since improved, that’s great for the business. But in regards to the argument in the store, I was accompanied by a friend who witnessed it and agreed we should leave after hearing enough. As a customer, I gave the whole experience a fair chance but ended up feeling forced to leave after getting my beverages because it created an uncomfortable and unpleasant environment.
It surprises me to receive such a defensive response from an Owner… especially on Unilocal where honest reviews are to be valued, whether they are favorable or not. I believe that in itself speaks volumes.

Meh, I’m not that impressed. My drinks were pretty okay but nothing to be excited about. I came in around 12pm and it was empty. The girl working was very friendly, personable, and greeted me once I entered. It was my first time there so I took awhile to look through the menu. I told her I wasn’t sure what to get so she even gave me some recommendations. After a few minutes of contemplating, I ended up getting 2 drinks. One milk tea with boba and then a fruit tea (can’t remember the flavor anymore) with popping boba and coconut jelly. She actually recommended I get the smaller size since I wasn’t sure about my choices.
The milk tea was watered down even though I asked for light ice and there was hardly any boba. The fruit tea was sweeter but it might have been the popping boba that I added. I don’t recommend adding popping boba though, it’s not my cup of tea I guess. Kinda makes you drink too sweet. I see it more as a topping to shave ice or froyo, but I just decided to try it this time.
In comparison to my other favorite tea places, this was not up to par. But, I know they are new so maybe they are still getting there!

Came here to basically get a dessert, something sweet after dinner. I got the Thai Tea with small boba. Nothing special and a bit too sweet, but all in all it was okay. Also it felt like the guy was rushing me to place my order when I was the only one in there… So I just ended up getting whatever I usually order at other Boba places. I also asked
What was popular here, then he said the typical Milk Tea, but failed to tell me what was special about their Boba drinks. Maybe I’ll try something else out the next time and see if their smoothies are better!

So honestly I’ve been here three times in as many days and I can safely say I’m addicted. I braved the monsoon yesterday to satisfy my cravings. When I arrived, their power has been knocked out and just came back on as I parked. The guy working that afternoon chatted with me as he was turning everything on the make my drink. He was very swift and the tea was just as tasty as I was expecting. Next time I go (which will probably be later today) I’m going to get the mason jar deal!

I absolutely love hawaii partea! I love how happy some of the workers are when you walk into the store! The colors on the walls are really pretty and bright. My favorites item from hawaii partea is there HALOHALO you cant go wrong with this item its only 5.24 with tax! The cheapest place you will find! Who doesnt love UBE icecream really delicious i like how you can see them make your drink right infront of your eyes! Also like how they let you try your drink to see if its to sweet or if you need more sweetness. Just over all i love coming to the store and getting taro coconut smoothie and the halohalo. Best place to go!

Pulled up by 711 and saw this place. I love trying new bubble places so I was really excited & especially cause I work at the best one in kapolei so I like to compare. This place fell really short. I asked the cashier questions but couldn’t answer about the love fruit topping. I wanted to know what it was so I could add it to my drink but the cashier replied that she honestly didn’t know what it was. So I just ordered the boba topping inside a cantaloupe fruit tea. Then the girl said they didn’t have that flavor. So I had to change my mind on that too and got the pomegranate. When I got my drink the boba was really chewy and hard .
Also my family orders smoothies and those were watery and tasteless, and the hard boba again. I got four stamps today but don’t think I’ll be coming back again.

I think it’s safe to say that there are officially a lot of bubble tea kind of places in the Aiea area. Hawaii Partea is now one of them. I pass by the Westridge Shopping Center on the daily and now this is the closest tea place to my place. So obviously it is located on the ground level of the Westridge Shopping Center which is next to shops like 7 – 11, Ninja Sushi, etc. It has a pretty cool flashy sign at night. Anyways other than bubble teas they also have other ice and cold related desserts like shave ice, ice cream, etc. They have pretty interesting incentives here at this tea location. The prices are really decent. I went in on the first time on a Tuesday and I found out that on Tuesdays, they have large drinks for the price of a medium drink. They also have other specials for the other days of the week. They have free wifi which the passwork is «letspartea.» I got a green tea bubble tea and it was just ok. There was no ice in it and my drink got warm real quick. Also, it was the first time that I noticed they didn’t seal the top plastic lid too firmly so there was some tea that was spilling out of my drink! I got it to go take out. So that is pretty much the main reason for the A-​Ok for this joint. I got a 20% deal off of my coupon so I will come back and try something else and see how that goes. The staff and customer service is pretty good. At the time, I was the only one there. They showed me their menu which was on the front counter as you are thinking of what to get. Like all the other tea places, they also have a stamp card and every 10 stamps get you an 11^th free drink. Here’s to adding another tea stamp card to make collection. They have a decent amount of table and seating areas. They have a TV in the fron. t

Another milktea joint has opened in Aiea area. This one is located in Westridge across from Bed Bath & Beyond. Parking is plentiful but I’m sure parking can be challenging during rush hour in Westridge.
I like the interior painting. It is bright green & clean. Only one person was working when I visited. I ordered 3 drinks and it took awhile for her to ring them up. But she gave me happy hour discount.
We got mango & honey dew smoothies with mini boba and green milktea half sugar. They were all made from powder and I also noticed that mini boba were in chunks and really stuck together. I’ve seen other milktea places in water containers and they use scoop strainer to get boba.
I didn’t care for my green milktea. I’m used to fresh green milk tea and it was too sweet. Smoothies were okay but it wasn’t blended well. Furthermore, the cup had streaked mark of mini boba. Not too attractive.
But they have wrapped straws, yay! This place is spacious with many tables. It could be a nice place to hangout. Maybe I’ll visit again near future.

Ended up here because we heard the commercials on the radio. When we got to the place and looked at the menu outside, one of my friends decided he wanted a f’real from 7 – 11 instead. Sad to say, he made the right choice. My other friend and I went back here. It was dead inside, just one lonely guy sitting inside watching White Chicks on the tv.
My friend got a black milk tea with boba. I got a peach yogurt drink with popping bubbles (but the girl messed up and put jelly instead). Both drinks were way too sweet. Literally there was no flavor besides pure sugar. Even at 5 or 10% sweetness, it would have still been too sweet. The boba wasn’t fully cooked. It was just dry and hard.
This place needs to step up its game if it’s gonna survive in our over-​flooded milk tea market.

This place is fairly new so i would try it again. This review is based on first experience. I had the melona milk tea and was able to try it before ordering. It tasted like a melona bubble drink so I decided to buy it. I noticed you have to pay for every single topping you choose. Compare to other milk tea places, at least one is free.
When I got my drink I left right away to head home. While I was driving and drinking my milk tea I noticed that it didn’t have any ice. I called and asked if they forgot to put. The lady told me that they serve the drink without ice because it ruins the flavor of the drink and the boba. I don’t agree. Not having ice in my drink made the drink warm quickly. In addition the boba were stuck together making me not want to eat it. It definitely needs some improvement. I still think Tea time or Tasty are the best.

Are you ready to paaartea? Milk tea places are the hype nowadays. And apparently tea super popular in Aiea, I know at least six or seven both places… that’s even more than in town.
This place is located in Westridge downstairs. The people were friendly and helpful. They have a panda shaped machine that makes shave ice which distracted me while I was ordering.
This place is a typical milk tea place with different flavors and toppings to choose from. However, they don’t allow you to modify the sweetness. This is probably why I thought their drinks were too sweet. We got a winter melon milk tea and a green apple tea. The green apple didn’t even taste like tea but a sweet apple drink. The drinks were way too sweet in my opinion. The honey boba was too sweet too and soft. I’m not completely sure but I think a lot of their stuff seems like it’s made from a powder mix.
You should definitely try it, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Sorry, but powdered flavored bubble tea is not my cup of tea.
I ordered lychee iced tea and this is what I got:
I’ve ordered lychee iced tea at many bubble tea cafes, and this is the first time I got one that looked like this. It’s not milk tea folks. It’s their version of lychee iced tea. There weren’t any traces of lychee fruit at all. Just powder.
The other reviews on this place are all positive, so maybe it’s just a matter of personal preference. I encourage you to read the other reviews and try it for yourself. But I would skip the lychee iced tea and try something else.

Came in and ordered 3 drinks. There were a surprising amount of drink options including smoothies, boba, teas, etc. Also there were almost a dozen boba topping available. I am sort of a boba connoisseur by default coming from San Francisco, and I was surprised how tasty my Almond Milk Green Tea was. Pricing is the same as what I’m used to ($ 3-​$ 4.50) and the service was much friendlier than SF boba places. While I was sipping away my drink, I tried to imagine what this place would look like a year from now with its large square footage and proximity to Pearl Ridge Mall. I can safely say that there will always be a line, and they are going to get more seating in the mean time. Also there’s free wifi and power outlets. Usually boba places are run down and cramped, this one suffers from neither. So I’ll be back!
