History
Established in 1979.
Originally started by Marie Veary Hara and her husband Ernie. She established Flags n’ Things as a familiar name in Hawaii. The Hara’s retired in 1995 and sold the business to Lorraine and Terry Archibald. Lorraine continued the tradition of a friendly and well stocked place to buy flags. Today the selection is still the largest in Hawaii and inventory of the Hawaiian flag is probably the largest anywhere.
