Another great experience at Als. These guys are solid. Made a same day appointment and they fit me in and cranked out the job. Stoked on my truck. I’m leasing so I got solar guard in the rear windows but still the panorama highlight in the front ones for highest heat reduction. I was bummed that my truck (2016 Tacoma) wasn’t able to get the front windshield tint because they come pre tinted a bit and the combo wouldn’t allow it to pass Safety. We have been loving the heat difference with that on our other vehicles. Anyway my truck looks sick. Thanks again Al!

With all the great reviews I decided to give this place a try, I didn’t really shop around for price but I heard it was a little higher if not average. That’s okay for me, since my car was only a couple years old but brand new to me, I wanted to get the better quality vs price. I got all windows done except my windshield. All the counter guys were excellent at explaining the different tints and heat protections. I asked for the darkest legal and best protection! I felt at ease that they knew what they were doing. At the time I was working in Pearl city, scheduled the appointment, dropped my car off and picked it up same day. They let me know there would be what looks like water type spots would be on the windows for a couple days and would come off. Windows are fantastic! Keep my car cool and look great!
A year and a half later, I rolled down my window and heard a plastic. I had like a half inch bubble on my drivers side. I called them, they said bring it right in. I did the best day and showed them my paperwork (keep your warranty paperwork, it’s a warranty for the tint material), you’ll need it if it’s the material issue. And they fixed it right away! Couldn’t be happier!

They did an okay job with my tinting. I have small bubbles on jus about all my windows and I jus took my car back to have one window redone. Both times I have gone there they tracked black sludgy mud into my brand new car. The second time they left boot tracks on the side of my door. They are not friendly, not once did I get a thank you for my business. I would not recommend them for tinting, for the kind of $$ they charge.

Extremely reputable company. I got my car tinted there over 10 years ago and recently it didn’t pass safety check because of bubbling on the rear glass. Took it there expecting to pay to replace it but they replaced all the tint on my car for free since it didn’t match. Took over 3 hours of labor but they honored their lifetime warranty with no hassle. I feel extremely satisfied and will always go here and highly recommend this place for tinting.

Excellent tint job on my new Mazda. Did my Tacoma last year at Al’s and the tint is still flawless.

DO NOT I Repeat DO NOT go here, well unless you like waiting 4 hours and paying double for OK work. OH I forgot to mention if you need a good excuse they have them there. Maybe thats why they are over priced cause they charge the customer for them to give excuses.

I recently went down to ATI (Al’s Tinting Incorporated) to get my two front windows done because they were small peeling off already. I would say that it was a pretty good experience overall. The shop is located in the same building as Lex Brodie’s Tire company. You can actually park there and just walk a couple of steps to the office which is literally facing right in front of Kamehameha Highway. Calling ahead or coming in person and making an appointment is the best for of course guaranteed service. The staff and customer service is great. They make sure that they get to you and keep you informed of everything. The tine that I got was just the regular 35% ones but the higher performance one. I don’t know much about tints but it came out to be $ 130 for just the two front windows. The regular one they said was about $ 100 if I remember correctly. But they let you feel the heat sensitivity with the sample tints that they have so that was great because you can actually see and feel how the effective each tint grade is! I had to wait just about an hour but it really is not bad at all because of their super convenient location which is located next to literally everything! (Pearlridge mall, Anna Miller’s, Starbucks, McDonald’s, etc.) There are many places that you can just kill time around the surrounding area. What is even more awesome is that everything is lifetime warranteed so just in case anything happens (of course naturally and not purposely) then you will take care of it with no cost. So that pretty much tells you something about how confident their work and products are which is always a good thing. Highly recommended especially for you leeward/​westside peeps out there!

I called four tint places that had high reviews, but they all were booked for two weeks. But when i called al’s the guy on the phone was calm and helpful not rushing like the others. I asked if i could have my tint done today. He said yea bring it in. Droped my car off at 12, got my car back at 2. I didnt mind the wait (plenty of places around to kill time) it was my day off, thats why i wanted it done that day. I figured, if it takes that long to do then they must be doing it right. I got it back, no bubbles, was perfect. I love it. Better than waiting for two weeks or making an appointment. I’m spontanious, most of the time i miss my appointments because something comes up, or i already spent the money (lol) and i have to wait for the next payday. 80 percent of the time I reschedule once or twice, and thats annoying. I didnt get the guys name who helped me but he was cool, showed me the different tint they had and the quality they bring. I told him my budget and we got it done. Awsome place, highly recommend this place. Lifetime warranty cant go wrong.

I overpaid for a nice film. They did decent work but I have had the exact same brand and everything for 180 in Ohio. Paid 345. Good work but not worth the money in my opinion

I Went Here To Get My Passat Volkswagen Tinted. I did inquire via email About how much is the starting rate of getting 4 windows tinted and the windshield, I got a reply saying starting for my car is $ 200. I paid $ 350 cash if I would of paid with card it would of been more. I’m disappointed when I went there, there was no tint that was Starting at $ 200 it was staring at $ 275, I got the middle tint 35% for my passat. And it a decent darkness. Just disappointed to spend that much money when tint it’s self cost 100, and I waited 3 ½ hours for my car. Other then that I guess you can go here if you wanna wait and pay a arm and a leg!!!

Excellent service, nice staff that explained the different tinting options. Very fast service, easy to schedule appointments. Didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need. I would highly recommend this agency. I have full ceramic tint and will probably go back to have them clear tint my headlights after I have them buffed out.

With the summer approaching I’ve noticed its started to get a bit toasty in the ride. If I wanted to sit in a sauna for a few minutes it should be at the gym… not my ride. Ben from Hawaii Auto Detailing referred me to Al’s and stated they were the best (quickly followed by… you get what you pay for). I knew what that meant… this may be a pricey endeavor.
I stopped by and they were super helpful and scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning. I ended up selecting the Panorama Hilite 35% as I didn’t want to run the risk of having them ask me to pull it off for the annual safety.
They said it would be done in 2 hours… and low and behold, two hours later I got the call. They went over some of the characteristics of the film and warned me because of the product there would be a thousand bubbles in it and not to worry, it will go away. They also took the time to inform me of the lifetime warranty which was cool. Not many places guarantee stuff for life. Its been a few days and the bubbles have been steadily disappearing! I must say… the whip is looking very nice with the new tint.
Now, the film is pricey, but you can’t beat the heat reduction or the look. I’m definitely satisfied!

This place is top not for sure! They take their time and make sure everything is right. They will do dark or as light of tiny as you want and will go over each with you so you can make the best decision.
I tinted my Subaru and my girlfriends Ford here and I couldn’t be happier with the service and outcome!

Just got my trucks tints here. It’s located next to lex brodis across Ana miller.
The service was great. And if you check in you actually get a coupon to take off one to it and to add on the supreme tint. They took the time to figure out what was in my price range and what I wanted as far as the tints. They also offer lifetime warranty on the tints.

Als quality tint is awesome! I have never had one complaint. His tint lasts a long time too. That’s how good the quality is. I’ve sent a lot of my Friends there too. Thanks Al!

A lot of good reviews but I can’t support it. I made an appointment to have my windows tinted, I was told to drop the car off with them at 8 am the next day.
Showed up 5 minutes before 8, no one there. Ok, I’ll wait. 8 am came and went, 8:15 came and went. I had to leave without dropping my car off for service as I have a job that I must be at on time!
I called them after getting to work (8:30 AM) to re-​schedule and the man picked up and said to me:
«I saw you waiting while I was in my car at the light, I had to go and drop something off and by the time I came back you were already gone»!
I can’t make this up!
So, you’re responsible for opening up the buisness in the morning you’re already late, you see your customer who has an appointment waiting outside your buisness and you decide to take care of your personal buisness and make your customer wait longer???
I pride myself with being where I’m supposed to be when I’m supposed to be there. Since this buisness doesn’t, they don’t get my buisness.
They may do good work but not in this case.
I’m going elsewhere.

After months of saying «we really need to get the windows tinted» I finally got if taken care of about two weeks ago. Having no real idea where to go I used the search function on Unilocal and found Al’s and saw all the good ratings and decided to take a leap.
I called them up and got a quote and was able to make an appointment for two days later. They took care of my car during the time stated, and the price was extremely reasonable. Their services also comes with a lifetime warranty which shows me a lot about the quality of their work, and the type of business they run. They were very professional and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to send any of my friends here for tint needs.

I finally had time to tint my car windows, which I searched through Unilocal for a recommended business.
I heard of Al’s before but never read the reviews. However, I read the reviews from Unilocal!
I scheduled an appointment and the tech shared he will review with me the different types of tints offered.
Friday morning, I dropped off my car and listened to the different types of tints. Chose a heat resistant type of tinted and was informed the waiting time (3hours). I was fine with the wait because I planned on eating at Anna Millers and walking around the mall.
End result? Very nice. They are very thorough and professional with great customer service skills.
