Danny’s Automotive

Referred by a local to Danny’s when moved to area.
At first was suspicious because in LA this level of concern is always false.
Once no longer suspicious, relaxed and let Danny keep both my cars in great shape for half the money. Now I go nowhere else.

I’ve been going to Danny’s Automotive for over 10 years and was referred by two friends prior to going. Outstanding service, extremely honest and excellent work. Vehicles have been fixed correctly and were clean when I got them back. I will never go anywhere else unless of Course Danny’s Automotive leaves the area. Best mechanic I have ever had!!!

Danny was great, he promptly diagnosed the problem with my car and gave me the number to a specialist who could take care of the problem. This is a good guy that you can trust

I’ve been meaning to leave a review! Danny is awesome! I was having the worst morning ever and had to have my car towed to Danny’s automotive and he was kind enough to let me leave my car at his shop for a few days to fix a minor thing while I was traveling to go out of town. He didn’t charge me for it either because he did it out of the kindness of his heart. He is so genuine and honest and I’m so glad I found a mechanic close by who I can trust and take my car to from this point on! Plus he’s completely reasonable with his prices. Two big thumbs up!

Super nice and honest, I had taken my Jeep to him couple of times. Nice to have a mechanic I can trust and not worry about high cost.

Danny is a class act. I really get that this guy just wants what’s best for his customers, even if it means he loses business. Sometimes when I want work done on my car, I want to take it to his shop even if I know it’s not the right place to go. I just trust this place to do me right.

Recently gave my car to Danny and really appreciated the service and explanation of repair needed. His is great. Will always give him my cars.

Danny’s Automotive is seriously as good as it gets! The most honest, reliable, helpful repair shop ever! We take all of our cars to Danny’s and I recommended him to my sister and she won’t go anywhere else either now. Do yourself the hugest favor and have Danny take a look at your car before ever getting repair work done at any of the local dealerships. Chances are you don’t really need the work the dealership said you desperately needed (this happened to us!) and if you do, Danny will repair it less expensively and more thoroughly. Danny’s is the best — we wont go anywhere else!

Highly recommend using this shop. These guys were so helpful and then let me leave free of charge when my car didn’t need much repair beyond recharging the battery.

Danny’s Auto is THE BEST and most trusting place to take your car. He was highly recommended to me by a friend a year ago, and I have been coming here ever since. I now live in Carpinteria and I drive to Danny’s still to this day. Honesty and always positive. Everything you would want from a mechanic and more. Thankful to have found a place I can depend on. Cheers to many more years to Danny and his wonderful crew!

I dont give fives often but Danny IS the best mech in the area, and very well may be best mechanic I’ve had fair and honorable, thanks for taking care that thing and great successes in biz.

Danny is extremely helpful and made extra efforts to find a bit of a cheaper deal on a radiator for my Hyundai. They didn’t have any appointments the day my radiator exploded but were able to get the entire thing done by noon the next day. Danny kept me informed of the costing and progress the entire time and even let me know where he managed to retain coolant so I didn’t have to spend another $ 20.

I first came to Danny’s Automotive for an oil change. New to the area, I found him on Unilocal and I was hoping he’d be as good as the reviewers said. My experience was a resounding YES!
I always make an appointment or call to see if he’s available, but I’ve also called when my old Suburban is making a funny noise and he’s made the time to drive around the block with me to check it out.
His prices are reasonable and he is always upfront about what’s going on under the hood of my car — and whether it’ll be problem sooner rather than later (or vice versa). Because of Danny, my 10-​year-​old SUV runs like a champ, which is a huge relief when I’m running around all day with kids; I never worry about it!
His referrals have always been great, too. A fabulous find in Old Agoura!

Jack’s right, Danny is awesome. Actually, Jack being my Unilocal-​friend and without seeing this review, I would have totally neglected writing a review for Danny’s.
Anyway, point is that my family and I have taken our cars to Danny’s forever and a day, I believe long before I was driving.
One of the few auto repair shops that’s trustworthy. Probably the only one in the area and on top of being an honest mechanic, his prices are far more reasonable than most. :)
