The Hoagie Man is a family owned dine-​in/​carry-​out restaurant located in Adrian, Michigan. Opened in 1988, the Hoagie Man has been a local favorite for over two decades. Now, 2011, we still take pride in using Amoroso rolls from Philadelphia to give you the taste of an authentic Philly Cheese Steak right here in Michigan.

Excellent cheesesteaks and fries, great service! An easy place to take my kids. Very casual, order at the counter. No frills in the dining room, but great for a quick dinner. When my sister comes to town for a visit, this place is always a must for her.

1st time today and will be back! Great service!
This place has 60 seats in it — which shocked me. It looks small from the outside.
Plenty on the menu besides subs. Including salads, burgers and side items.
It was VERY clean and they keep it up vs letting trash sit around.

I love Hoagie Man! :)
They have lots of choices — something for everyone in our family. Their «hoagie» fries are my favorite, but it’s nice to be able to choose from hot or cold hoagies, too. The salads are fresh, and they make their croutons from scratch. It’s always a good feeling to support a local business and have options that vary from the chain stores.

To my surprise (as you may have surmised, I’m not a huge cheerleader for restaurants in Adrian), this place makes a pretty damned awesome cheesesteak. They even get the bread right, and they never insist on putting lettuce and tomato all over my sandwich (seriously, huh?).
Their waffle fries are crispy and have really good flavor, too. Definitely one of the best places to eat in town.
