Lenawee Carpet One

We decided to go with this company, not because they were cheaper than other places like Lowe’s and Carpet Outlet, but because they promised us they could have the flooring installed pretty quickly.
We went to the store and walked around for nearly an hour and the woman there was pretty helpful. She admitted she hadn’t been there long but she seemed to know the answer to most every question we asked. I found a sample I liked and she swore it was the linoleum version. I looked at a sample I loved and was going to pick but then noticed and said that it appeared to be hardwood. The woman swore it was linoleum. I must have mentioned about 3 times that it didn’t look like linoleum and then finally, after about an hour, as we’re picking the final selections, she realized it wasn’t the linoleum flooring but hardwood. That didn’t bother me much so I made another selection. We found the perfect carpet color and set up a date to prep the floors.
About two days later, I got a call that the carpet color we wanted was not in stock and we had to choose a different color if we wanted it done within the few days because if we waited for them to ship it, it would take at least 2 weeks. We were kind of annoyed because the color had been exactly what we wanted. When I asked where the carpet supplier was, the owner mentioned it was in Livonia. My jaw dropped. The color I want is barely an hour away! Just go freaking pick it up! I even offered to go get it if I had to but no, we apparently HAD to pick a different color because apparently making that happen was impossible. So I went into the store again and chose a color I still sort of liked but not as much.
Upon installing the carpets, the gentleman that came was so polite and sweet but completely ruined several areas of the brand new paint job. He was very apologetic but I still was frustrated. Almost every wall corner (at least 6 spots) got completed scraped down to the metal drywall corners and there are at least four spots along the wall where you can see huge scrapes, each about two feet wide, from the carpet back scratching against the paint. I’ve had nearly every guest come over and comment about the paint being messed up.
After all this, the owner had to come over and she kept saying how it wasn’t that bad and how we could just easily take a paint brush and cover it. You can’t. At least not in the spots where it got scraped down to metal. The original man I hired to paint came over and said we would need to do primer and several layers of paint over the spots to hide the metal underneath and quoted me $ 250-​$ 300 to come out and repaint all the spots. Honestly, I haven’t taken him up on it yet because frankly, I don’t have the extra money to spend but looking at the walls still make me want to cry thinking about the thousands I spent getting my whole house repainted.
Everybody I worked with at this place was nice. The owner seemed unorganized and frazzled the few times I met with her and was quick to try to come up with a solution, even if it wasn’t what we wanted but I still can’t get over how many headaches came with this process compared to the last time we installed carpet many years before with somebody else and how the matter was painless and was over with quickly.

If your thinking of getting carpet I would go with carpet outlet we went with carpet one for my son’s make a wish the unveiling for his wish is tomorrow morning and it’s 4:30 pm now and still no carpet the lack of communication is very upsetting, very very unhappy with there service.
