Highly recommend this place. Don’t let the retail space fool you. Top notch grrooming at an affordable price with great customer service as well. I had just moved to the north dallas area and on Xmas eve I was frantically looking for a groomer as I needed my pup smelling good with nails trimmed before we visited family. Studio Pampered Pets was the only place that could see him on such short notice and I’m glad they did. It’s been a little over a month since then and my dog still doesn’t stink! (other than the obvious frito feet from running around outside) I’m blown away at how much better they were able to get him clean than other places. He was happy as could be when I picked him up an hour later making this the best experience possible. I will definitely be back.

Michael is the best. First time my pet was there. He is usually very cautious and eager to leave any place new to him. Not with Michael. He was giving him kisses and was very relaxed. The cut Michael gave him was awesome. I love Studio Pampered Pets. This is my salon now. I will definitely feel comfortable leaving my pet there.

Needed a cut/​bath for our pup in a hurry, Michael was able to accommodate us. I was a little hesitant when I pulled up because it does not look very fancy, however, they did a great job and out pup felt very comfortable and walked right in — which is something she doesn’t do often with new places.

Brought my red heeler to get her basic routine grooming done here for the first time this past week. Michael took the extra time to help remove her currently shedding coat, and I haven’t seen her she’d once since. Highly recommend.

I was going to Odessey Pets, the groomer I used left. I had tried other groomers there and wasn’t a fan. I found Studio Pampered Pets using Unilocal and I’m so glad I gave them a shot. They are situated next to a gas station and this place is a diamond in the rough. They are so great with Ariel, my shih tzu, and she has looked perfect for the two grooms I’ve done with them. They asked both times if I was happy with the cut and really wanted to make sure I was satisfied. My dog has separation anxiety and she was fine both times when I picked her up. They are very professional, clean and care about the animals they groom. The price is also very reasonable and comparable to other locations in the DFW area. I’ve already rebooked for my third groom!

I was so apprehensive about bringing my baby in today because i usually just allow him to be groomed at the dog daycare, but last time, they only cut his hair without washing him and I have never really been happy with the way they cut it. My dog is very hyper and I always worry a bit on whether he can be handled properly and not too roughly. Michael was great with him from the start and I did not worry at all. He finished with him earlier than expected. Angel looked amazing and seemed at ease, I will definitely bring him back and refer my friends.

Tried this location based on other Unilocal reviews, because we couldn’t get in to our
regular groomer. We were not disappointed. They were professional and courteous. They asked questions up front regarding how we wanted our toy poodle groomed, and she looks adorable, with the cut exactly as we asked. She was happy when we picked her up and was calm. Since she’s a nervous dog, this was a great indicator of the care that they took with her. We will definitely return for another grooming.

don’t know how I feel about this place. I walked in just looking for information. The receptionist was quite rude. I asked her I was just wondering how much they charge for a wash and a dental cleaning. She told me I don’t know, it depends on what you want done. I said, Oh just a wash and dental cleaning (brushing teeth). She said well you can call to find out. I was confused because I was standing in the shop at this time asking her questions. I was wondering what the difference was. So I asked if I could have a brochure and she said we don’t have any. Call and tell us what you want, we do it by the size. Again… I’m in the store, telling her this information and she still refused to help. She gave me a business card and kept telling me to call and find out more information. Why would I have to call to find out more information if I am standing right in front of you. So I have yet to be back to this place because of the way this young lady acted. I do not know why she didn’t want to help me. Another lady walked in and I even said you can go ahead and help her I’m just looking for information. Well maybe it was just an off day, I will post an update soon if I ever decide to go back.

I loved the cut! I have a cocker spaniel and I have had some bad haircuts… Michael was great came out and listened to all my specifications and my dog was well taken care of. They are very aware of the dogs mental as well, my boyfriend had his 10 mo old lab groomed there and they made accommodations for him since he was terrified of the blow dryer. Definitely found my go to place!

I was really happy with Mr. Michael’s approach with our pup. She was there for about 4 hours, but she was gorgeous, nails trimmed and happy bright eyes poking out that we hadn’t seen in a while.
She has always been a little gun shy about grooming and nails, so I was relieved to read about Michael’s approach with the animals. My other half took her in and he said it was very apparent that everyone there was all about the care and concern of the animals. He said he saw lots of talking and loving going on, so that made me feel at ease as well. (I usually sing to her, sometimes!).
As far as the price. well, we were expecting a larger number for the time and care they took with her, and ended up being QUITE please at how amazingly reasonable the price was. Thanks again, we’ll definitely be back!

Brought my lab in on short notice. He’s sensitive to nails clipping but let them do it. Dog left really clean and in great spirits. Nice job. We ll be back

Michael does a great job grooming. Reasonable price. I wanted to come back. I had to call 3 times and never got a call back. I left messages too. My dog is not aggressive so I have no idea why this is happening. Go try Jossi Lu Grooming.

I brought my dogs here on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Yes, it took awhile (frankly, I was thrilled to have a baby free day for once), but they looked fantastic.
If you want a rush job, then by all means go to some chain store groomers for a substandard cut. But if you want your babies to look perfect, at a reasonable price, then come here.

Michael was awesome with our 7 yr old Airedale, Carl. The cut was the best we have ever had and Carl had fun. Thanks Michael. We will definitely recommend!

I was tired of getting inconsistent cuts from large, chain groomers with high turnover in their groomers. I found Studio: Pampered Pets on Unilocal,and its short distance to my apartment. Appointments are convenient, prices are reasonable, and communication is consistent– I got called right when they were done– about 4 hours for 2 dogs– cut and bathed.
I took my Haley a couple months ago — she’s a mini American Eskimo — and she got a great cut– beautifully trimmed in all the right ways, and is sparkling white. I took Tank, our pom mix and he got trimmed also. I am very happy with the results!
The dogs react great to the groomers there also. Usually Haley has to be dragged to the back, but she has happily followed the groomers to the back twice now. Michael mentioned Tank was a bit nervous, but he was still perfectly groomed, nails trimmed, etc. A bit of background on Tank– he growls and gets mad when we try and brush him! You can tell the groomers really care to get the job done.
Last, this is the only place in this area that offers dog feather extensions– Puppylocks. Absolutely adorable! Haley will get one of those next time for sure.

I’ve been a customer of Micheal’s for 2 years and he’s the BEST!
Michael is a wonderful groomer. I am extremely picky, as we all are, about who and where I take my two Miniature Schnauzers to be groomed. I’ve been to several other places in the area and my dogs always come back traumatized or cry when they get taken back and this NEVER happens with Michael. I’ve watched him work on Ivy (who is a handful) before and he was gentle, confident and quick.
The other thing about Michael is that he listens and does exactly what I want. I do not want keep my Schnauzer is a show cut with a skirt and Michael is more than happy to oblige me. Other places have balked and argued with me when I tell them to just cut my pups short all over and leave the Schnauzer head. But not Michael, he is always willing to do what I ask.
Over all my experience has been wonderful and I will continue to take my dogs there. You should too!

Michael is the best groomer out there… hands down. Why? Because he truly does care about your dog. After throwing the dart at a handful of other groomers and always leaving unsatisfied with the way my dog looked, I searched on Unilocal and found Michael’s place.
I’ve got a wheaten mut. He can look like a huge sissy or he can look good when he gets groomed. I prefer the later. I told Michael this and he made sure I was satisfied. He doesn’t just run a shaver over the dog, he scissor cuts them to make sure they look the way they are supposed to. You can tell that Michael loves what he does and really takes pride in his work.
All the five stars that are given to this place really are legit. He’s reasonably priced and books up fast, so I suggest making a standing appointment.

Last Friday I had the day off and thought it would be a great time to take my new little furrkid to get a bath and a hair cut. His hair was way too long and you could barely see his eyes.
Michael said to bring Beasley in around 1pm. He asked a lot of questions about what I liked and what kind of cut I wanted Beasley to have.
About 5pm I went back to pick Beasley up and I almost didn’t even recognize him. His ears had the most adorable bob cut and the rest of his mop of hair had been shaved off to a great Summer Cut.
It turns out that Beasley is a little firecracker if you try to do something that he doesn’t like. I guess this is a trait I hadn’t really seen since I adopted him a month ago. But Michael was able to come to an understanding with Beasley and he said the rest of the time he was fine.
I don’t know quite yet how fast Beasley’s hair grows, but when it’s time for another hair cut and a «Mama’s Day Out» we will be coming here.

This studio is so brand spanking new they’re still trying to collect the basics (register, sign, etc). Heck, it may just be this one guy for now, but oh my, what a groomer!
Michael Cole is now officially the only guy allowed to take a trimmer to my precious golden dogspring. I’ve requested a special «booty trim» for my prone-​to-​excited-​pee Dallas, a request that twice has been interpreted by the intelligence-​impaired clan at Petsmart as «shave her belly.» Apparently, they think her belly buttton is her dog-​gina.
But no! Michael knew right away what a booty trim entails, and then spent a likely eternity trimming her golden coat here and there until a smooth, streamlined, GORGEOUS dog appeared, complete with bandana.
My dogspring hasn’t looked this good since her youthful first groom at the tender age of 2, and that was by a professional retriever show dog handler/​breeder.
The price was right, and Michael even recommended and offered to order some products to keep PeePants clean and smelling like doggie breath instead of her usual doggie-​breath-​dried-​pee combo.
By far the best grooming I’ve ever seen with the best service and attention to detail. Give him a try! I’ll try to get a pic of post-​groomed PeePants for the listing.
