Went with a large group @ 9 pm on Wednesday night and they were empty but the Jazz player was really good and so was the service. The portions were a little small making the prices a bit high for what you got. Everyone seemed happy with the food.

My husband & I have been living overseas for over 2 years. We had arrived to DFW late on Christmas day, and the first place we decided to go to was Soho for dinner. We took my sister & her fiancé who had never been before. We told them how we loved this place so much. Well, Soho totally disappointed this night. We were surprised upon arrival how empty the place was, but there were tornado warnings going off. Our server was very sketchy. He did not know his wine list at all. The guy refilling our water would pour over the table rather than picking up the glass. His method resulted in a pitcher in our faces and water droplets on our plates of garlic bread(which was an extra charge). The truffle fondue tasted like cream gravy to me. The Soho salad was just«so so,» but the Parma salad was good. I don’t know why the fried calamari strips were called calamari steak on the menu. I was paying for the meal, so I ordered one of the most expensive entrees, the grilled lobster & shrimp lasagna. Guess what? My order was completely forgotten. The waiter and another dropped off 3 plates and then disappeared. After over 10 minutes, my husband got up to find the manager. Unfortunately, he seemed ignorant of what was going on. He should have looked at our tiny square table and immediately realized the problem of 4 people and only 3 plates. I had to wait another 10 minutes for my entrée. It was piping hot and delicious. However, my companions’ food was cold by now.

Quaint and cool place in the heart of Addison. Had our monthly ladies supper club here which also happened to be our holiday party for 10. Called ahead to make sure the table would be set up and it was. It was a Thursday at 4:30 pm, so nobody else was there when we arrived, and everything was ready and beautiful. Vernell was our waiter and was nothing short of fantastic! He was always there to make sure our drinks were full and kept us entertained along the way. He even went a step beyond by helping us make a connection with an attractive man at the bar :-) The bartender made great martinis, not too sweet unless you requested it. The tapas were excellent. I had the crispy goat cheese and tomato marmalade along with the ahi tuna and olive marmalade. Both were scrumptious! We sampled the fried cheesecake which was actually more like a cannoli but was divine and also had the a-lotta chocolate-a which was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. A jazz pianist came in somewhere along the way and was just right for the setting. The only thing I could see that would improve the place is a larger stage for the musicians, but there really isn’t anywhere to accommodate that unless they gave up part of the seating around the corner. All in all, I love this place and can’t wait to return!

Cool ambience and nice staff! Fancy food for small, but tasty tapas and fancy selection! Good for a party or when you want to eat light and fancy! Or go straight to the regular menu. But if you want tapas, go Sunday or Monday for the all day happy hour! I liked the calamari, lobster, and quail tapas! They were good but small. Good singer/entertainment! Cool private side patio for bdays!

I am always looking for new tapas places in town so my husband and I decided to give this place a try. We showed up before 6 pm so the place was pretty empty at that time and were asked if we had a reservation and we said no. No big deal, they sat us down inside at a good table. The atmosphere is very cozy and loved the live music. But as the night got busy i was observing them seat other people without reservations and it was just kind of a cluster. I understand that most people have reservations but this is not like Knife or Del Friscos fancy type of place and the staff should have a clear plan on where to seat people without reservations. The service from our waiter was good but the food was very mediocre for the price. Pera wine & tapas and Si Tapas have much better food for a lower price. Overall, it was okay. Not sue what the hype is.

This place is a cute hidden gem! Great for a date night. The live jazz band was great. I ordered the chicken dish and it was really good. Au gratin potatoes were perfectly done and perfectly portioned. The only negative was that our table was right in front of the jazz band so it was difficult to hear each other. I’ll definitely be back!

Soho is a great spot for happy hour! Small bites/plates that are great to try and share(I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like)! Live music every night as well(I love live jazz/r&b)! Atmosphere is a little dark and cramped but not overly uncomfortable — possibly if it becomes crowded but we typically leave before it hits capacity so I’m not sure how it feels after the night/dinner crowd comes in. Great Addison option!

Brought my husband here for his birthday and it was perfect. Great jazz band playing as we, my sister and her husband joined us also, ate the delectable meals we ordered. I ordered the blackened sea bass, usually comes roasted, but the server suggested blackened instead. I made the right decision!!! It was divine! My husband and sister ordered the glazed baby back ribs, which I also tried and they were delicious. My brother-in-law ordered the burger, however, I didn’t try it but it looked really good. The music that played while the jazz musicians switched places were all of my husband’s favorite songs. I don’t have any complaints about the night at all. The manager came and ensured we were alright and even refilled my drink. All of the staff was polite and attentive. Excellent way to start my husband’s birthday weekend! Thanks, Soho!

Live music, dark romantic ambiance, good drinks and delicious tapas… what else could you want?! Lovely first experience here. Waitress was very friendly and informative and the music being played the evening we were there(Friday) was wonderful. Great place to have a drink, a few snacks and enjoy some music!

Went a couple weekends ago with my boyfriend and our friends. We had reservations at 8, got there 15 minutes early and we were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn’t as busy as an Addison restaurant is typically is on a Saturday night which was surprising to us. The food was delicious– the service was horrible. Our server came over 3 times the whole entire time we were there. We ran out of water and drinks multiple times. Our tapas weren’t delivered in a timely manner as we asked them to be(before our entrée). We got 2 of the 3 the tapas we ordered about 2 minutes before our entrees came out. When the food runner brought our entrees out we mentioned that we were missing one of the tapas and he was so confused so he flagged our server Jacob who got it to us about 20 minutes later. That particular tapa should have been comped off our bill but it wasn’t. We didn’t get an apology or anything from Jacob or the manager(not sure there was even a manager on duty). This place is good, little over priced, but good. Get your servers some better serving skills and you’d have an almost perfect restaurant.

I’m in love with this very charming and cozy restaurant! I can’t believe I’ve lived in Addison(mostly) since ’08 and have never been here. It really is a hidden gem. There is not another restaurant in the area like it. First, the«patio» has a large, live tree growing up through the middle of it. The tree has twinkle lights wrapped around it. This is an enclosed patio with windows all around that open up. They were all open, and the waiter let me choose our table. We sat at a table facing beltline and literally felt the very lovely 75 – 80 degree breeze as we dined. White table cloths throughout, but it is a seemingly casual environment. It is dimly lit with more twinkle lights throughout, and there is a band that plays every night. Very relaxing. The waitstaff are amazing and appear to love working there. Very attentive to the point of making you feel special, like family! Food is just great. The tapas menu has everything. Huge selection, and since these are small plates, might as well get three for 2 people :). We had calamari, the burger, and the filet with crispy onions. All perfect and tasty. And, what really sealed this 5-star review for me is that there is a tarot/palm reader there. She was giving a reading at a table that had several diners at it. She didn’t stand out until I walked right past. Apparently, she is there often and will do readings on demand? Very neat and fun for a date night or girls’ night! Keep up the good work SoHo and never change!

This place is amazing! I felt like I had transported into a true jazz club! They have awesome live music every night(different singers too!) and the ambience is very romantic with cute hanging lights outdoor. The service was spot on, super attentive and friendly! They had a great alcohol selection as well, fully stocked with a huge variety of beers. The food was also amazingly delicious! We ordered a lot of tapas and they were all really good. We got the raw tuna and avocado appetizer. The flavors blended well together and the fish was super fresh. We got the fried quail legs which were super crispy and flavorful. We got the lobster ravioli(heaven!), the hummus dip with cheesy bread, fried calamari steak(amazing!) and lastly the fries which were also super crispy and fried to perfection. I’m drooling right now just thinking about the food. Entrees– we got the pasta with seabass, scallops, salmon, and lobster(I forgot the name!) but it was so delicious and buttery, melts right in your mouth. We also got the steak which my bf said was juicy and tender. Overall the experience here is great for a cute date night, or even a fun evening out with your family and friends !

Ambient atmosphere, friendly service, live jazz music, tasty food, and alcohol, all adding to a great and fun restaurant experience. The food was great and speaks for itself. Come here for the experience, which is great for both family gatherings and intimate dates. My first Unilocal post and it’s in Dallas. Hope y’all like it.

I came here for a nightcap with a friend. It’s been years since I’ve visited Soho but I’m glad I did! They have changed up the art on the walls. There was a great acoustic guitar player playing that night. I ordered a ciroc cosmopolitan and my friend ordered a Manhattan. The drinks were great! Good vibes and good spot for peopl watching. Next time, I will not stay away so long! It was déjà vu!

Very, very happy with this place. Warm, friendly staff who provide great service. Interesting, adventurous food options with a huge happy hour menu. Wine was reasonably priced and fabulous. I made the mistake of trying their crème brûlée for dessert — to die for! I was there on a Tuesday and they had this wonderful guitarist/vocalist there that was great. I will definitely be back again soon!

We’ve been to SoHo a handful of times and I have to say, they NEVER disappoint! We love coming to this place for the food, ambience, drinks and music. I always order the Napoleon salad but this weekend, we ordered the Beef Tenderloin. Holy cow! No pun intended. It was spectacular! They have killer drinks. Their service is excellent. There’s a little jazz trio that has played every time we’ve been there —lucky I guess because we hear they have different bands. There’s also a «regular’ by the name of Henry who goes up and sings a little Sinatra with the band —THAT’s also a treat! The crowd is older. The place is quaint and food is to die for! I strongly recommend this place. This is my favorite little slice of heaven!

My husband took me on a date and at first it looked very cute and nice. We sat down the waitress took our drink order and I ordered a melon drink which is melon vodka with sprite and sweet and sour. I asked no sweet and sour since I don’t like sweet drinks but she had to disagree with my choice of order. The calamari we ordered were cold but the salmon was tasty. The Jazz was great but we could barely hear it since we sat far away. The waitress checked on us maybe twice the whole night. It wasn’t great or bad just okay not good enough to come back.

I always jump at the opportunity to go to SOHO. I love the tapas menu, music and waiters. I really like that the waiters are jovial and helpful. This place is fairly intimate and has some great easy listening Thursday through Sunday, I believe. The cocktails are fantastic and they have some unique ideas. I typically enjoy the peach bellini martini. My husband likes their mojitos. I have enjoyed duck(fantastically prepared), tempura asparagus(out of this world), rock lobster(creamy and delsih), petite beef filet(well-prepared with nice flavor), shrimp tempura(crispy and delectable), charbroiled sea scallops(tender with an interesting sauce), pan roasted sea bass(is my favorite, super flaky with a rich buttery taste), calamari steak(thick cuts of calamari fried to perfection), bacon wrapped potatoes(only two, which is a little ridiculous), and the blackened snapper(second fav). They prepare seafood extremely well, but the beef is also tender and seasoned well. The music varies. We have seen great musicians and some not so great, but this is a nice place to sit and enjoy some 5* food with close friends. I would never recommend this place for families. I feel it’s more of a date night spot or meeting up of friends.
