Everyone is super friendly and really accommodating!
When I first emailed in asking about particular dresses, I was told they didn’t have the styles I wanted, but the consultant sent me several more options that were similar to what I liked. I thought it was great customer service for someone to do that via email before even booking an appointment.
My appointment was scheduled for a later time and I called asking if I could come earlier and they fit me right in!
I have been here two times now (to look at a particular wedding dress I’m interested in) and have dealt with 3 different people, all of which were extremely friendly and outgoing and patient. I never felt pressured to make a decision. The atmosphere is more laid back, which I appreciate.
They also have a great selection of dresses for a great price! I would highly, highly recommend this bridal store.

Here Comes the Bride has amazing customer service! Rose was incredible and brought me out of my comfort zone while shopping for my wedding dress. This is the first place I went to in my search for a dress and it was the last! I said yes to the dress and am so glad that HCTB and Rose helped me to find it. Thank you, Rose!

This review is long overdue considering I got married two months ago. But, better late than never. I absolutely loved my experience at Here Comes the Bride and the staff was so great. My best friend and sister both bought their dresses from here so I knew I would end up here as well. I love that you can look through the dresses yourself. Some bridal shops only let their associates pull dresses. For me, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted so it was helpful to look at the dresses rather than try to explain to someone what I thought I would like based on pictures in a magazine.
I worked with Hadi and she was so great. She was honest and patient and also really listened to all my feedback. In the end, I was very happy with my purchase and on my wedding day I received many compliments on my dress. Thank you guys!

I am a plus sized bride and as I began my search for a bridal gown I was both excited and terrified. I wanted to TRY dresses on not simply hold them up to me and use my imagination. I used Unilocal to find Here Comes the Bride and I must give a million thanks to my fellow Unilocalers! After reading some other reviews I decided to email with a few questions and Rose was happy to help. She answered all my emails in less then 24hrs, which made me feel a lot better about my coming appointment. George helped me during my bridal appointment and although I was told she was a newer associate I think she did an amazing job. She listened to everything I liked and disliked about each dress and helped narrow my choices down. In the end she did end up bringing me a dress that she knew I would love but she also knew I could not try it on (the one thing I did not want to happen) When she first brought the dress to me I just looked at it and George encouraged me to do what I didn’t want to do and hold it up to myself. Somehow she made it look as though I was in the dress and i loved it! I was still a little nervous about buying a dress that I hadn’t tried on but in the end, I bought that beautiful dress and I could not be happier. Thanks HCTB you guys were great!
P. S. Plus sized brides don’t worry HCTB has a great selection. They must have brought me at least ten different dresses I could have actually tried on.

My daughter got married Nov 21^st and bought her mori lee dress here. Great experience and the dress came out perfect. Small shop but very organized and alteration lady is great. This was the first place we went and only place. Thank u for playing a part in My daughters beautiful day. Everyone should go here.

Here Comes the Bride is a little out of the way for Chicago brides, but it was completely worth the trip. Diane was a fantastic listener and pulled a number of beautiful gowns; they keep a fantastic stock of dresses. We were also given the opportunity to pull our own dresses, which my mom loved.
Several dresses were one-​of-​a-​kind runway samples, which was mind blowing. I could have never guessed I’d be able to wear a completely unique gown on my average budget. Having some gowns in smaller sizes won’t help everyone, but it really helped me to try on dresses that didn’t have to be clipped and held in place.
I had a full day of dress shopping planned and left without buying a dress, but after looking over all the pictures we took while shopping it was clear Here Comes the Bride had my dress. They were able to fit me in the next day, a Saturday, to put the dress on again and ultimately buy my dress!
I would absolutely recommend HCtB and Diane to all Chicagoland brides!

This place had a amazing variety of dresses, along with an amazing staff! I was the maid of honor for my sisters wedding (all dresses were bought from here) about 2 weeks before the wedding I came in to get sized because I just had a baby and we had to guess a size for me after the baby, unfortunately my dress was way to big! Luckily Rose pulled a dress for me from the samples they have in the store and I was able to wear that one! I am so great full to them for all they did for me!

I usually don’t write reviews about anything, but this place is worth writing about. From the minute I walked in to try dresses on, I knew I would find my dress here. Samantha was absolutely wonderful and I have recommended this place to so many girls. Today I put down the deposit on the dress of my dreams and it was all thanks to them! I really enjoyed how it wasn’t a busy, high traffic place when I went in and I could focus on the reason I was there. Hoping to find bridesmaids dresses there as well!

This place is awesome! I was able to order the dress that I wanted at a WAY lower price than another boutique that I went to. Go here if you want to order an Essence of Australia dress! The ladies were very accommodating to me and my friends.

This place has an amazing dress selection!!! It was was the first store I went to and it should have been the only one. The ladies that work here are very sweet! The first time I went in, I did not have an appointment, but the owner let me look around and within minutes she put some dresses on me. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind and she was spot on with her selections. Never pushy, very helpful. She even put me in different styles so I could see them as well. I then returned a few weeks later with my friends and they too were impressed. This time I was helped by Diana and she was great! Again, not pushy, very honest and so helpful! And of course, I found the perfect dress!!! Ladies, this store is a must! If you go here, you won’t need to go anywhere else!

AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING. My consultant was Samantha and she went above and beyond to help me create my perfect dress. I had been to a few other bridal shops and was starting to get discouraged, then I went to Here Comes The Bride last minute one evening. I wish I had started with them!!! I am SO HAPPY with their customer service! They had another girl come out and help adjust the dress and clip me. I felt like they really cared and listened to exactly what I wanted. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS all thanks to SAMANTHA and the wonderful girls at HCTB!

I highly recommend HCTB. They have a great selection of gowns and are very helpful. I was hesitant to go shopping because I didn’t want a pushy or snobby salesperson – you won’t get that at HCTB. Rose helped me and she was very nice. I was so happy I found my gown within my budget!!!

I have been meaning to write this review for almost a year! Here Comes the Bride helped me have the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined. I had fallen in love with a $ 4000 gown at a different boutique, which was faaaaar out of budget for me. I came to HCTB, with a few Pinterest pictures, and a photo of the other dress I loved. Diane brought in lots of dresses for me to try, and I tried on a lace gown which had a very similar silhouette to the $ 4000 gown, but with a totally different neckline and back. Then the magic started: their seamstress, Rudy, said that she could modify the dress to look more like my ideal gown. I was AMAZED when I came back for a fitting a few months later. SHE IS LITERALLY MAGICAL. My dress was perfect, and the alterations she made after my next several fittings were spot-​on. Not only did they basically create my dream wedding dress out of thin air, they were always so kind to me whenever I went in, and their prices are so reasonable! We were working on a budget, so it was such a relief. With one last wave of her magic wand, Rudy also dyed my veil to PERFECTLY match my dress. Diane, Rose, Rudy… THANK YOU!!!

This was the second bridal shop I went to. I tried on numerous dresses and found «the one» here, back in December. Samantha was my consultant and helped me into numerous types of dresses. I had an idea of what I wanted based on photos I saw online, but once I tried them on-​it wasn’t what I wanted. Samantha gave her honest opinions and listened to what I liked and/​or didn’t like about each dress. I finally found a dress and even teared up a bit! It wasn’t in my budget but Samantha worked with me and helped get it to the amount closest to what I could afford. I still went a little over my budget but it wasn’t extreme. My gown won’t come in until June and can’t wait to see it again!

I came here one Friday morning as a last minute plan to look at bridal gowns. Diane was able to get us an appointment on short notice. I showed her the type of gown I was looking for and she pulled a variety of beautiful dresses with the same style I was looking for. I absolutely fell in love with one particular dress. After checking out several stores I just couldn’t top the dress I found at Here Comes the Bride, so I came back and bought it. The service here was great and the gowns are beautiful and very reasonably priced. I enjoyed my experience and really thank Diane and Rose for their help!

While I did not end up buying my wedding dress from HCTB, I had great experiences the 2 times I came to try on dresses. I worked with Diane both times and she was great. She gave my mom and I the opportunity to pull our own dresses, but we decided to leave it up to her and she came up with some great choices all on her own, based on my budget and pictures I showed her.
She was not pushy at all and offered her opinion without being overbearing. I didn’t feel pressured to buy a dress that day, which was really nice. I didn’t buy my dress from HCTB only because a dress I happened to find at a different store ended up being the winner. HCTB has friendly staff and a great selection of dresses and even though I most likely won’t be back in the future, I would highly recommend this store to anyone searching for a wedding dress.

I found my BEAUTIFUL gown here this afternoon! Rose helped me out and gave me great advice. I wasn’t even interested in strapless but Rose pulled a GORGEOUS Mori Lee beaded strapless gown that fit like a glove. I ended up leaving the store with that dress! Funny considering I was dead set on no strapless when I walked into the store!
Overall I was very satisfied with the experience. Everyone was nice but not over-​the-​top fakey nice. I didn’t feel pressured to buy either which was great. I HATE pushy salespeople. This is THE place to go for a bride on a budget if you don’t want to go the big box store route.
I can’t WAIT to wear this dress in 8 months (after slight alterations, of course). It’s perfect for my beach wedding. Thanks Rose and Here Comes the Bride!

This shop happens to be about a mile away from our future wedding venue so I thought, why not? So happy I did! I walked in not having much of a clue what style/​type dress I wanted. My main requirement was that it must be flattering for my body type (curvaceous size 16) and fit my budget (reasonably priced dresses!). In walks Diane…
Walking into the shop, I never expected to buy THE dress on my first shopping trip! I was super nervous about the whole dress shopping experience but Diane’s patience, knowledge and friendly demeanor put me SO at ease. She had me try on different styles (A-​line, trumpet, ball gown, etc) to get an idea. I never felt rushed or pressured. And once THE dress was on… I knew it was the ONE as did she.

This shop is really close to my house and I drive by it every day as I go to and from work. So after I got engaged, I decided to check this place out. My friend was visiting one weekend so I made an appointment to try on dresses so I could get an idea of what I liked/didn’t like and what looked good, etc.
Diane was helping me out for the day and she asked me a few questions before we got started about things I liked and price range and a little about my wedding. She then pointed me in the direction of the kind of dress I was looking for and I was free to look and pull any dresses I wanted to try on. It’s hard to have an idea of what the dress will look like when it’s on just from looking at it on the hanger, but thankfully Diane and the other women pulled several dresses for me to try on as well.
It was really helpful to be able to try on many different dresses and although I wasn’t really planning on finding «the dress», I did find one I loved. Diane was very helpful too with both listening to my feedback on things I didn’t like about the dress and giving me helpful feedback about what was good and wasn’t ideal for my body. This kind of sounds like she was critiquing but it wasn’t like that at all! For example, I really liked open backs and v-​backs and I tried on a few that we cut too low that I wasn’t crazy about. When I tried one on that had a shallower v-​back she remarked that it was a great cut for me because there was still enough dress on the sides and back to give me good support in the chest. That was actually really helpful to hear because then I knew what to look for in a v-​back. I appreciated the good feedback.
I still wanted to be able to shop with my mom so Diane recorded the dress number for me without any pressure to buy right away.
I was able to do some dress shopping with my family back at home and still loved the dress at Here Comes the Bride. I ended up back at the store to try the dress on again and purchased the sample which saved me a little money. Here Comes the Bride also had a better price than I found at any of the stores back home.
This shop is great and had a very good selection of dresses. I really didn’t want to go the David’s Bridal route but I also didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a dress. This place definitely fit that bill.

There have been quite a few times that Unilocal has shown me some really awesome places and this is one of those times. I was looking for places to do some wedding dress shopping. Somewhere affordable. David’s Bridal is a must, just because they have dresses in all kinds of price ranges. However, I wanted to check out somewhere in addition to DBs. There are a lot of bridal shops around me, but they seemed kinda pricey. Then a Unilocal search led me to Here Comes the Bride.
Honestly, I don’t know how anyone finds out about this place without Unilocal.I don’t think they do any advertising, so it really is by word of mouth. Also, their location is in a strip mall in Addison. If I was driving by, I wouldn’t give it a second thought. However, I had a great experience. Making an appointment was easy. Their hours aren’t very consistent throughout the week, so check the hours before you go.
Finally the day came. I met with Rose and told her what I was looking for: something with lace, not poofy, not mermaid, not blingy, preferably with straps, and under $ 800 if possible. Not much to work with there. My family and friend were sitting in the waiting area in the middle of the store while I went off with Rose to look at some dresses. She showed me some stuff to get an idea of what I might like and since I have no clue when it comes to this sort of thing, she pulled dresses she thought I might like. After trying on about two dresses, she got the idea and we started finding things more up my alley. We also came to the conclusion that straps were probably not the way to go.
She also let me try on a dress that was not even close to what I said I wanted, but it was a style I always wanted to try. I tried it, didn’t like it, and we moved on, but I liked that she let me get away from what we were looking for for a second so I can have some fun. The final dress I tried on I loved. Well, as much as I can love a dress I’m dropping money on. It was kinda different from what I was looking for, but still had the elements I wanted. The best part was that it was $ 400! Way under budget! It did need a little work underneath the first layer because there is a line you can see, but that can definitely be fixed in alterations, and even with alterations, I’m still under budget. Also, the dress fit me perfectly so no stressing about losing weight.
Of course, we left there without the dress because we had another appointment at David’s. However, I came back two days later to buy the dress. And I came in without an appointment, hoping I could try it on again. They had another girl there, but Rose had no problem letting me try the dress on and talked it over with me, saying that it really was a great fit for me. Sold.
I had a great experience overall. My guests weren’t totally thrilled with the appointment because they were expecting a «Say Yes to the Dress» experience with bubbly consultants and tears all around. I’m glad it wasn’t like that. Rose isn’t over the top and fake, and I’m glad for it because I find that annoying. Instead, she was incredibly helpful and her personality matched mine, so I think that’s why we worked well together. She also did a great job finding what I was looking for, which is near impossible because I know nothing about dresses and I hate trying on dresses. So glad they were conscious of my price point too. I highly recommend this place.
