Dunkin’ Donuts

There is always a issue and they never give a reciept at the drive thru and then when the order is wrong they want the reciept and when you tell them you never give a reciept at the drive thru they yell ohh no everyone gets one. HA i have never recieved one at the drive thru. Then the time I went in ordered a dark roast they took my money then said sorry we are out get something else i said naa ill just get my cash back they told me NO YOU PICK SOMETHING ELSE. REAL Nice I really need to start pickup up coffee by my house.

I have been going here for quite awhile. The best part of the experience is when the old lady messes up my order and then tells me it’s my fault. Then when you get to work and you say wow was that a trip. And every one at work says oh yeah the old grumpy lady so always messes up my order and then tells you it’s your fault. Wow! Must be the owners grandma but that place is too weird. At this point I would rather drive down the street and be late for work than go back there and be insulted by the old goat dounut jerk. Too bad there are not zero stars.

Service is horrendous. My family and I walked in and we weren’t greeted. Completely ignored even when we were standing at the counter. 3 staff in the back. At one point, all 3 were standing at the coffee machine right by the counter and still ignored us. I said «excuse me» and was replied «we are busy!» Ignored a few more minutes then one of them took our order with «what do you want?» Wow! I would have just left but my kid still wanted her freaking donut. I don’t think I’ll patronize here again. I’m too busy spending my money somewhere else.

What the actual eff is wrong with these people. I singlehandedly blame this location for me switching over to Starbucks. Where to begin?
The time where I ordered 2 iced coffees (when they had the .99 deal) for me and bae and I got to the window and the jerk said to me, «just for your information, the deal is only good for two per person, not the three like you just ordered. We will ‘make the exception for you’ today, but just so you know for next time», to which I replied, «yes I am aware and that is why I only ordered two, for your information, not three, so you can take the third ghost coffee back.»
Then there was the time where I ordered my usual large iced coffee with cream and the kid at the register gives me a medium. So I told him I ordered a large and he goes «no you ordered a medium, see» and points to his computer. Like wtf, you’re really gonna argue with me? Idiot.
Then the time where they had to remake my order 4 times because they kept putting sugar AND sugary flavor swirls in our iced coffees, when we specifically said NO SUGAR, cream only with sugar free french vanilla flavor. We sat in the line for 10 minutes. oh, the same time the lady didn’t even ring up our order, probably so she can pocket the money which is probably why she kept getting it wrong. Thus, we didn’t even receive our receipt.
The final straw was a few months after the previous offense, after avoiding this place like the plague for months, bae wanted hot chocolate so knowing that they were open until 11pm, I decided I’d just go here out of location convenience. I pull up at 10:30, all of their lights are on, even their drive-​through lights are still on but after 5 minutes nobody answered the drive-​through. So I pull up and the employees are just looking at me and eventually tell me they are closed. WTF. You’re gonna leave all of your lights on, not even attempt to look closed, not put any sort of sign up and say you are closed… This place is a waste of time and money just avoid it at all costs.

This is not the best Dunkin around. They are Almost Always out of donuts! And they never have an assortment of donut holes.

This place… can’t get an order right even when they’re NOT BUSY!!! Seriously, stay away from this place

I go here all the time, never had a issue people talk about language barrier but welcome to society where there is a language barrier everywhere.
I like the baskin robbins combined with dunkin bc sometime I just want to get coffee and the kids want ice cream. In the morning they have people that speak english and I have not had a issue at this particular location.

Not much you can say about it. It’s a Dunkin’ Donuts. What you see is what you get.
They used to be 24 hours but ended that awhile back. I start work at 1:30 am and it was a good back up in case I forgot to set up my coffee pot.
Their biggest downfall is the language barrier. Especially in the drive thru. Make sure you check your order well before you pull away.

This place lacks service and understanding of the english language. My orders are pretty simple and they seem to get wrong all the time often leaving out items I purchased saying I wasn’t charged for it. This place lacks management. Today is the last day I will stop in here.

Terrible service. I went thru the drive-​in yesterday and ordered a breakfast sandwich that came with a coffee. The man asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I forgot to tell them I needed decaf, so when I drove up to the window I apologized and asked for decaf instead. He turned around and said something in his language real loud then told the girl, in English, who was preparing coffee to switch it. She then said the same word in their language, which I then assumed had to be something not nice. She looked at me with darts in her eyes as if I had just insulted her baby. The man gave me the coffee (which I don’t even think they changed to decaf), and I graciously thanked him, yet he would not even look at me, he was so disgusted. Won’t be returning to that Dunkin ever!

This is location has the worst service! I’ve been there a few times, and every time I leave very frustrated.
They don’t listen to your order. U have to repeat your simple (1large coffee cream only) order at least 3 times before they get irritated and tell u to drive up, then they ask u to repeat your order yet again at the window. Avoid this location if u can!

I’m a regular here just drive thru and for the coffee.
They just recently updated the interior of the building but I haven’t gone inside only through the drive Thru.
It’s a good Addison location, staff in drive thru are friendly. Hubby likes their coffee, just hot and black no extras.
It gets really busy in the morning, not found of their enter and exit entrance cause you need to wait your turn to drive in or out of the parking lot. It needs to be wider. It’s Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins, donuts are good to eat it right away or within an hour or it’ll get hard and stale. I like their toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese once in awhile if I want to carb load in the morning. The ice cream is ok, when you’re lazy to drive to Uncle Harry’s or Oberwies.
I would only come back here for the coffee cause it’s so close to hubby’s office.

You really cannot expect much from Dunkin’ Donuts or Baskin Robbins, but if you are in the area and do not feel like driving any farther this is usually one of the decisions you will have to make as a sacrifice for quality food/​coffee.
The ice cream is pretty disgusting, for the most part. I got a mint chocolate chip shake there once and it tasted like water with mint chocolate flavor in it. I gagged. If you are really in the mood for it, you are better off making the trip to a Coldstone (there is one in Elmhurst nearby) or just down the road there is a Dairy Queen, either will much better satisfy your craving over this junk that they serve.
The coffee is nothing to be impressed about either, but when in a rush and you need that caffeine kick it will do just fine. I highly suggest stopping just down the road at the Starbucks instead.
Also, there is a troll like woman who works here who just stares at you like you are an alien when you come through the drive through. Barely says a word besides mumbling the total and is usually the one who I see assisting in serving the horrible crap they call ice cream and coffee.
Overall, go somewhere else. It is not worth the price unless you are buying a small plain coffee.
