DallasChild is an award-​winning free monthly parenting magazine that address the concerns and needs of families, with a special focus on children from prenatal through adolescence. The magazines offer a well-​informed, local and relevant perspective on issues affecting families and serve as both a strong voice in the community and a staunch advocate for children. History

Established in 1986.

Lauren Publications Inc was founded by Joylyn Niebes, a life long Dallas mother of three of children. While searching for things to do with her kids, she was frustrated by how few resources there were. Joylyn started DallasChild Magazine with the intention to provide a monthly ‘go to’ parenting magazine for local moms and dads searching for parenting tips, education, family activities and entertainment in Dallas and Collin counties.
