Took some classes there, great place, very close to my house convenient, and the staff was great with helping me register.

Students today must pass computerized tests to be allowed/​given permission to take classes. Instead of advising you of classes you should take, they replace everything with a requirement. Funny, they said this was what tax payers wanted, but I was never asked. They would not let me take a math course, but I took and passed a harder one somewhere else. They now require, not advise, a math course, or passing of this test just to take many courses like earth and environmental science. Courses that I sat through, and even the instructors admitted there was little or no math in them. They blame the state, but it is really there corrupt board. They should not always be able to decide what they think is in our best interests. As a tax payer and student, I should have the right to take anything that pleases me. I even have the right to fail.

Ever wonder why? They set up a system that by default we haft to take more and more classes. So far most of all the instructors I have had are great! Some are only one-​sided, but most, especially the part-​time teachers really work hard. But the umbrella they work under is all about money.

I took an EMT course here. It is a really nice facility for professional training. The nurse program and EMT’s shared a large health care room with training dummies and the like. There was also a full mock up of a firestation with old fire engines for the fireman trainees. It also had fake hair salons and a restaurant for learning whatever it is you would learn there. Plenty of parking was available too. Its right off of I-​355 for convenience.
