I have been taking my Mercedes cars to Auto Hans for 15 years and would definitely not go to any other shop. I adore Alex! He is so knowledgeable, so polite, so honest, and so courteous. Alex has taken care of everything from minor repairs to major fixes (double blowout and accident repairs). I also purchased a car from Hans. Simply told Hans what I wanted — and poof — there it was and the in the price range I wanted. This GL is by far my most favorite Mercedes I’ve owned. Thanks Hans. I’m a truly devoted customer and would never go anywhere else!

I took my 500SL to a place in Plano that had good reviews. They said that I needed a new ECM and that it would be about $ 1600. I took it to Alex. He changed the fuse and had me on my way. I have always liked working with people who are good at what they do. I like Alex and Auto Hans.

This shop came recommend and was referred to me by someone I used for dent repair.
Alex was professional and very accommodating. I took my E500 in for an oil change and a brake check. I also had a small oil leak but forgot to mention it.
Alex gave me a loaner vehicle. He called me a few hours later to inform me my brakes were fine. He also stated he found a leak and asked for approval before repairing.
The repair and oil change was completed the following day without incident.
I was pleased with the experience and work product. I will certainly use this garage again.

I have been an Autohans customer for many, many years both for car service from Alex and purchasing cars from Hans. Autohans always does what they say they will do. Their work is done carefully, completely and professionally at a fair price which is well below what the dealerships demand. Hans sells quality, extremely well maintained pre-​owned cars at fair prices. I wouldn’t take my two BMWs anywhere else for service and I recommend Hans highly, if you are looking for a pre-​owned vehicle.

I live in Addison for 14 years now. I have a Classic 1989 BMW 325 Convertible… with only 86,000 miles.
Even though it’s an old one, Hans still provided top priority maintenance and repairs when I needed them and only what I honestly needed.
I now have a new Mercedes and need to get into see him for scheduled maintenance.

Took my 2012 Mercedes Benz ML350 4Matic in for the first time today. I had them do a transmission fluid/​filter change. This was the first time I’ve ever used an independent servicer. I chose Auto Hans based on all the positive reviews. They did a great job on the service. It was done with the parts I requested and done in the time promised. Alex was great answering all my questions and is very responsive. This is my new service center and I look forward to them keeping my Merc running for a very long time. If you have a Mercedes or BMW, I highly recommend this place.

When I bought my used BMW, i was very concerned about costly repairs down the road. Glad I found Alex. I purchased a warranty when I bought the car. Alex is diligent about making sure the warranty is used on covered repairs. When my friends tell my about their costly BMW repairs from dealerships, I tell them they MUST go see Alex. Plus he has incredible knowledge about these cars.

Auto Hans is the Best auto shop hands down for Mercedes Benz!!! You get what you pay for and that is great service and an excellent running vehicle! I wish I had started going to them when I moved to Texas 7 years ago, but unfortunately I had to go through a few rip off shops first. Auto Hans doesn’t BS you and they get things fixed right! They are the only place I will ever take my vehicle to from now on!!!

Auto Hans is exactly what I expect from a mechanic. He is truthful and does not beat around the bush. Recently moved from New Jersey and own two BMWs. (335i hard top and x5) Anyone who has dealt with foreign cars understands the maintaince on those cars. He has been extremely helpful since day one. Knows exactly what he is talking about too.
Alex is amazing. He has always fit us into his schedule even when he is completely booked. He also has a wall filled with certificates that reassures you.
If you care for your car as much as we do then take your car to Auto Hans. Highly highly recommend.

Just had my 2001 Mercedes Benz SLK320 tuned up by Auto Hans. They changed my spark plugs, replaced valve covers, changed air filter, replaced transmission mounts and repainted the interior to eliminate some ugly marks on the dash and console. Amazing work! Did all this in less than two days.
Great prices, great service! They may not be big like the Stealership (MB Dealer) but they do great work at reasonable prices and FAST! Even though this car is almost 13 years old, my wife may steal it from me now it looks that good!
If you need work done on your MB, BMW, Mini, or other foreign cars, contact Auto Hans! You will be glad you did!

Competent, honest, and fast. Alex and his crew have had the pleasure (ha!) of working on my old diesel Benz numerous times since I moved to the area.
They aren’t a ‘budget’ shop by any means, though still far cheaper than dealership service. I’ve always been satisfied, and judging from the conversations I’ve had with other patrons in the shop Auto Hans is a trusted and rare service shop.
If your automobile is a descendent of the Germanic tribes, this is the place to take it.

Hans Preen knowing sold me an unsafe BMW Z3 and refused to reimburse me for the required repairs, i am happy to report that a law suit has been filed and justice will be served. stew parris

Taken by 2004 Audi A4 to Auto Hans a couple of times for different issues.
The first time — April 2012, Alex was on vacation, so dealt with Hans. He’s not particularly friendly and though the work was great, posted a review on the less than stellar customer service attitude. A few days later, Alex actually called, apologized and offered to make things better the next time!
The second time — Sep 2012, one of my headlights stopped working and was getting an error message on the dash — ‘left headlight dipped’ or something like that. Called the Audi Dallas dealer and they wanted $ 150 to diagonize the problem. Called Auto Hans and Alex was professional and courteous. Got the job done for much less and within 30 minutes!
Though they may not coddle you and offer work areas, wifi and an Ipad (like the dealer), the work is spot on, reasonably priced and quick turnaround. Alex will give you an honest assessment of the work required and not try to make up defects in your car.
I recommend them and will be taking my Audi to them for any further work.

Alex is bar none the most honest mechanic I have ever met. I took my car to Autoscope in East Dallas and got a quote for more than $ 5,000 to fix something that was causing a noise in my engine. I took the car to Auto Hans, and Alex figured out it was just the wrong weight of oil causing the noise. So, my repair for that problem went to ZERO. I did need some other work done, and he quoted me extremely fair pricing. He also purchased another BMW that we were looking to sell. All in all, he made my life so much easier, and he was a pleasure to deal with.
I will never take my BMW to another mechanic again. This guy is the real deal and you won’t be disappointed.

Alex is awesome. He has worked on my BMW several times and he is efficient and thorough. Plus, it doesn’t take a week to get an appointment (compared to the BMW dealership on Lemmon). AND, he is always less expensive than the dealership.
