I went to this salon about a year ago for a full set. I didn’t have a groupon or discount, but I saw that they had good prices for a fill in and some good reviews. I have no clue how they got such good reviews: the owner and Mimi treated me like an imposition and pariah for not wanting a pedicure along with my full set and for being a nail biter. Also, Mimi was arrogant the entire time she worked on my nails, talking about how she was the shit and talking about other salons negatively. For someone with an empty salon and such negative reviews about customer service, I definitely encourage you to pay the extra money you’d save on group on to go to a different salon. You’ll be more happy with your experience, even if it means you have to spend a bit more.

My sister and I had planned to have a relaxing manicure together just before Christmas. I am in town for Christmas holiday, & we wanted to take time out for ourselves before all of the festivities began.
From the moment we walked into the salon, the guy in charge acted as if we were impeding upon his time. Apparently we had interrupted his time on his iPhone. He was rude & curt. When we asked to be seated next to each other, he said «why are you being so difficult and giving me such a hard time». He said that like three times, & the last time was in a baligerant manner that made us feel so uncomfortable that we left the salon before even being properly seated.
I would NEVER recommend ANYONE EVER go there.
This man needs a lesson in manners and customer service!!!

No clue how this place has any good reviews. It’s new and was nearby so I figured I would try it out. Huge mistake. I should’ve known from the fact that on a Sunday it was dead empty. I had some guy who kept coughing and sneezing (thanks for the germs). Being sanitary isn’t exactly their thing since when he cut my cuticles he never did anything to stop the bleeding or sanitize the equipment. While I was still bleeding he went on to paint my nails, so good luck to any person who gets painted with my fresh blood. He literally had my blood all over his hands and tissues. That’s disgusting. I had to ask him to use a new file at the beginning because the first one he pulled out a really old looking one. I ended up leaving before my service was even done because I was so fed up with how he was doing my nails. This place is a joke. I need a shower after just being in there.

I just had a gel manicure, using a group on. Don’t know if the woman was the manager, owner or just a worker but she was on the phone from the moment I walked in until I left. It was very annoying to hear conversation while I trying to relax. When I handed my gut the group on, she finally got off the phone only to tell me that I cannot use another group on because they have cameras so they know faces. Firstly I have no intention of going back and secondly her behavior was unacceptable. My manicurist was nice enough but won’t go back because of her remarks. I’m not a swindler and don’t need to be threatened. I guess that’s why I was the only customer in the shop

My nail tech was awesome and my artist was very understanding to my pickiness. I love my nails a I will be going back in 2 weeks.

I’m not sure how there’s so many positive reviews. They had too many clients scheduled. 2 hours still only had regular pedicure. Manicurist dropped file sponge on floor, picked it up & went to immediately use on my nails. My daughter (master licensed cosmetologist) told her not to touch me & get a new file. Manicurist went to back with file came back with SAME file. HORRIBLE. UNSANITARY. UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER AGAIN!

If I could put 0 starts I will do it. They have horrible service, the owner is arrogant and thinks that he can scream at anyone. I don’t know if that’s the way they communicate in his culture but that’s not the way to talk to anyone. I had to leave the place without even getting my manicure and pedicure because I’m not up to bad customer service. I don’t care if you’re the owner!

I bought a Groupon for a gel manicure and called to make an appointment and they would only get me in today if I booked a pedicure with it, otherwise they would get me in tomorrow on a Sunday. If they have time to see me today for both mani/​pedi, why wouldn’t they have time for just the mani. Only because I mentioned the Groupon, they treated me differently on my services. I cancelled the Groupon and asked for a refund. I will not give them my money.

Best nail salon! My gel polish I chose on my natural nails came out perfect! Will definitely be coming back every time I need a mani and pedi!

One of the best salons I’ve ever been to, and easily the best in this area. I’ve been a customer for about a year, and I’m always pleased with the services I receive. Mimi and Lu, the owners, are gracious and always strive to ensure their customer have a relaxing experience.
The salon is very clean and achieved a perfect health inspection; it’s posted by the cash register. The pedi tubs are fitted with a disposable liner and clean jets for each client. They also use an individual package of a nail file, pumice and buffer for each client and give it to you to take home when the pedi is over. All metal implements are autoclave sanitized and individually wrapped.
The salon does have firm policies in place and they will absolutely enforce them. IMO, these policies are nothing more than traditional courtesy and common sense they expect from their customers, their employees and themselves. Personally, I enjoy coming to a salon that doesn’t tolerate nonsense from rude people.

Mimi has amazing attention to detail. There are lots of nail places out there; this is worth the drive

I’m a nail technician based in Texas and my manager requires all male nail techs to have non-​bitten nails with clear gel polish on top and all female nail techs to have pink and white. Since I will be in Georgia for a few months I decided to get my hands done. I get an overlay because I have bitten nails so getting an overlay keeps me from biting them. And to finish I got a gel top coat. The man who did my hands was very friendly, he didn’t give me any weird look when I wanted an overlay even though I’m a guy. He conversated with me and he didn’t hurt me one bit. He drilled them very thin and smoothly, drilled around my cuticles well without hurting me, and kept them short just the way I like.

so i just redeemed a groupon here, i made an appointment for 1230 arrived about 10 min to 12, fully knowing i was going to be waiting, i walk in say i have an appointment for 1230 and everyone starts talking at once, i belive i heard someone say «you early,» but i ignored it, however i could not ignore when a lady looked up and said «you know your early right» i was half expexting her to tell me to leave… so i said «uh is that not ok???» i knew right then it was «mimi» all you Unilocalers have been complaining about… she said it was fine and told me i’d be waiting just a bit and to pick a color… again, i fully expected this, i came from marietta so i have to leave early with traffic, and it just so happen there wasnt any on my way… so less then 5 min later a nice older woman came to do my mabi pedi, she was quiet, but very polite, and well what can i say, she tried and i did tip her well for her efforts… but the fact is she did not do even a decent job, i really want to stress that she tried, she re did my big toe 3x, i could not understand their language but i think everyone there including herself, knew and was conversing about the fact that french tips where not her fortay… i have white nail polish all over my toes, bubbles all over my french tip, a few small strange yellowish spots, she did not remove all of my orange nail polish, and my pinky will be ruined before the day is over because theres a chunky spot in the corner all up into my skin… bottom line i had groupon bucks so it was basically free (besides the 10 $ i spent on the frenchtip), but i would not have paid for this, and i wont be back… definitely not the older ladies fault tho, even if she did an awsome job, i wouldn’t have come back just because of Mimis rudness to start my appointment off with… I’ve attached some pictures… and i litterally just walked out of here… i asked her to fix my pinky 2 times, she made it better then it was but still not acceptable
IN RESPONSE TO HER REPLY, I KNEW THAT I WAS EARLY, I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT APPRECIAT OR LIKE THE WAY YOU APPROACHED ME. I KNEW I WAS EARLY, WHAT DOES STATING THAT DO? DID YOU WANT ME TO LEAVE AND COME BACK? AND I DID LET THE LADY KNOW IT WAS MESSED UP, TWICE APOUT MY HAND AND ONCE ABOUT MY FEET, IT WAS VERY APPERENT SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO FIX IT, AND I AM ALMOST POSITIVE YOU ALL WHERE TALKING ABOUT HOW SHE WAS HAVING A HARD TIME WITH MY FRENCH TIP, ONE OF THE GENTLEMAN WALKED PAST AND SAID SOMETHING TO HER IN CHINESE AND SHE SAID AYYYEE AND DUG HER EQUIPMENT BACK OUT AND GOT SOME OF THE POLISH OFF OF MY SKIN. FURTHER MORE UPON SHOWERING TONIGHT WATER GOT ALL UNDER THE POLISH AND IT STARTED PEELING OFF LESS THEN 12 HOURS AFTER SERVICE.

Got a groupon for my wife and myself to get a mani peri. This was not my first but one of the best. Staff was very friendly and very good. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great find.

Unfortunately there is a younger women that works there that ruined me ever going back to this salon again. She is so rude and they have a sign asking everyone to check in on Unilocal and they will give you u 2.00 discount. After I check in she rudely tells me that offer is expired save it for next time. It’s not worth the attitude to ever go here again.
Don’t waste your time going here. Again the arrogance of this lady is unreal. If a sign you put up is expired heres an idea… REMOVE IT. $ 2.00 is nothing its the lack of caring and rudeness. Yes YOU ARE RUDE!!!

I’ve been searching for a good nail salon that uses real Swarovski crystals that do designs that was close to where I moved to. They do have Swarovski crystals, rhinestones and do designs (just one person). I ended up getting the gel manicure that cost 30 dollars. I also got some crystal designs on each finger which was an additional 7 dollars, nothing too fancy!
While I was driving home one of the Swarovski crystals fell off of my ring finger within minutes! I would have turned around but they were closing and plus it was raining. Mimi did my designs she is a very sweet lady. She ensured me they wouldn’t fall off If I took care of them. They did fall off without me doing anything.
I’m from California and it comes alot cheaper for beautiful designs. There is a nail salon on every corner also everyone uses Swarovski crystals never rhinestones and all the technicians do designs without a problem. I don’t mind paying and tipping for a good to great job but their prices are higher than average and they didn’t even have the color I picked out.
I received this 30 dollar manicure that looks like I need a retouch already, the lady never soaked my hands in water and she didn’t give the lotion down massage like all of them usually do. I ended up having to settle for a lighter pink that I didn’t like and a design I didn’t want. I just refuse to pay and extra 14 dollars for just 2 nails to have full crystals on them. I will never understand how a full set of nails with acrylic and design are less expensive than a gel manicure.
Overall, The atmosphere was nice and quiet. They offer wine snd water, which is beautiful. They had alot of polishes for a regular manicure, not alot of the mood chaning colors nor gel colors but I don’t like being lied too and when people give me what they want instead of what I ask for. It wasn’t like it was super busy, I was the only customer. I just wish the experience was a little better than what was received especially since I went out of my way to drive there. VERY NICE STAFF! I believe they were just ready to go home, so they told and did me as such! I know this can be better than what it was. Thanks for giving me a «good price» as Mimi said.

I went to the Nail Center for the first time the other day and I couldn’t be happier! I read all of the reviews (which are accurate), called to make an appointment and they said you can come right in, no problem. I showed up and they even remembered my name from the call. Mr Lu and Mimi are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about their business. They both went above and beyond to make my experience the best ever! I’m VERY happy with my nails and even happier that my search for the perfect nail salon is over!
Great staff, reasonable prices, free fixes for chipped nails, a complimentary glass of wine… it doesn’t get any better, plus they’re just amazing! Go see them, you won’t regret it!

The best nail salon experience I’ve had yet! Mimi is gracious and so friendly… even offered me a glass of moscato. She gave my sister/​bride-​to-​be the best mani/​pedi/​gel. Jen gave me a fantastic pedicure and was very nice as well. Awesome!

This is easily the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Not only are they super nice and professional, but they offer you free wine or other drinks while you’re getting pampered. I brought in a picture of the design I wanted and Mimi nailed it. Great pedi and artificial nails (very thin and natural looking). I just moved to this area and have been looking for a new nail salon. Luckily for me, I’ve now found it!

I really enjoyed getting pampered here. The staff was super sweet and great at what they do. Mimi took the time to really look at the shape of my face before waxing my eyebrows and left me with a look that suited me perfectly. The manicure and pedicure were both very relaxing and I left feeling prettier than when I came in. Thanks guys!!!
