Fairhaven, MA
Fairhaven is full of hidden gems and Seafood Hut is definitely one of them. The fish and chips here are in my opinion better then Genes Seafood. The portions are bigger, the prices are cheaper and the service is 100x better. They also have awesome hotdogs, burgers, wraps and ice cream. They are also open year round! Give this place a try.

The fish and chips were okay. My husband got the lobster roll and fries, which was $ 11.99 and not really worth what the portion that was given compared to other places. The outside picnic area was very clean though. I might try stopping in for ice cream at some point.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I’ve been eating here for as long as they’ve been around, probably 9 years or so. Best fish and chips I have ever had in my life. As a lifelong 19 year fried fish loving resident of New England, that’s saying something. Very friendly staff and management. Great deal on Fridays, small fish and chips for $ 5 or $ 7 for a large. Buffalo shrimp wrap is also to die for. Highly recommend.
