Children’s Programs:

Programs start at age 4. With 2 training rooms we are able to offer a huge variety of class times and days. Our children’s program is broken down into 4 levels; Little Dragons for ages 4 – 6, Basic Training for beginners ages 7 – 12, Intermediate Training for ages 7 – 12, and Advanced Training for ages 9 – 12. We also offer an After-​School Program with bus drop off and vacation week day camps.

Teens/​Adults

For Teens/​Adults we offer Martial Arts Classes, Interval Training Group Fitness Classes, MMA classes, and Chanbara — Padded Weapons Classes. We also offer workshops with the world’s leading Martial Arts instructors including notables like Skip Hancock, Ed Parker Jr., Denise Gonzales, Dave Castoldi and more!

All of our classes are led by a team of Black Belt instructors. Head instructor Matthew Moncreaff has over 30 years of martial arts experience.

Unlike most schools we do not charge testing fees. At our Academy you earn your belt, you don’t buy it!

History

Established in 1993.

We started off in February 1993 as a college club at U. Mass Lowell with satellite programs in Westford, Chelmsford, and Acton, Massachusetts.

In May 1995 we opened our full time location in Acton and have been here ever since. in 2002 we expanded, doubling our space. This addition gave us a second training room allowing us to double the number of classes and programs we offer. We continue to operate satellite programs in Concord, Harvard, Princeton and at U. Mass Amherst.

In 2007 we purchased a mountain-​side lodge in Princeton, Massachusetts, the home of Mt. Wachusett, which we use for overnight training camps several times a year including our incredibly popular Adventure Week camps in the summer and KIAI Weekend camps in the fall. These camps have become some of the most looked forward to events each year by our students!
