As a nurse attorney with over 20 years of legal experience and as Managing Partner of Summers, Summers & Associates, P.C., Attorney Cathleen Summers provide a vast array of legal services to seniors and their families: estate planning (including wills, trusts, advance directives and durable powers of attorney), medicaid planning, reviewing documents associated with long term care placement and assisted living facilities. Additionally, our firm provides life care management services assisting clients and their families in dealing with determining the appropriate level of care for a loved one and helping to identify the right care providers or facility. Locating the appropriate type of care, coordinating private and public resources to finance the cost of care, and working to ensure that our client’s right to quality care are honored. We specialize in assisting families who may live out of state or be unable to provide frequent oversight of a loved one’s care.
