I have been using this shop since I moved to Absecon in 1998. I have used them for all 4 of my cars for everything from tires, brakes, oil changes and non dealer required items. They have been honest and have done great work every time. Ignore the whiney flat tire person, This place is awesome.

Cameys has always performed excellent work on my vehicles. They are very honest and will even allow you to buy youy own parts and have them install them. I have used them for 15 years without a problem. They have installed brakes, shocks, font end work and tire replacement with excellent results. The person with the bad tire should of probally had the tire replaced in the first place and should not have tried the cheap fix which does not always work.

OMG! how do you say RIPOFF? We went to Camey’s for a tire repair yesterday and not more than 5 blocks and 20 minutes later, the tire they patched was flat again. I have had many a tire patched and plugged in my driving time. Plus the fact that I come from a family of car aficionados and car collectors means that I’ve been around wrenchers my entire life. Never once have I seen, or had, a tire that was patched go flat so soon. I usually stand over the tire repair people to see what they are doing, so yesterday I asked the tire repair guy if I could enter the garage to see what the problem was-as I thought it was the tire nozzle because the tire goop was seeping out around it when we tried a can of Slime Quick Spare. He showed me two holes, one from where he pulled out a nail and the other that was a side wall hole. However both of the holes were so tiny there shouldn’t have been a problem with the patches. The side wall hole wasn’t even visible and it was on the part closest to the side wall, but still in the tread of the tire-not on the side at all. The other was about 3 inches away towards the center of the tire. This fix should have taken two small round patches, but the guy must have put one big patch(he actually said he might do that, but I thought after seeing that the patch would barely reach between the both holes, that he would switch to two smaller patches) on the holes because they didn’t last for 5 blocks. They charged us $ 20 for the patch too! If your looking for a tire repair shop in Absecon, NJ do not utilize this shop; as they were more worried about getting us off the property while they worked on the car, then they were worried about fixing the tire correctly in the first place. That is bad business and definitely bad service! A tire patch is Auto Mechanics 101, and if they don’t know how to properly adhere a patch-I don’t imagine they can repair anything else to par. Now I know why their garage was the only place that we could actually drive up and get in right away. Beware of their bad tire repairs. If you can, bypass this place all together!
