Terrible period. Anne is rude, food is okay depending on what you get. Beef salad was wretched. I actually threw up 30 minutes later. Sounds dramatic but first time thats ever happened to me. She wanted to charge for extra lime wedge, what gives??? Simple changes could actually keep and get more customers but she’s been operating like this for years, must be working for her. Save your money!!!

I went here for the first time today and will NEVER go back again. I ordered about 40 $ Worth of food from this place: Two orders of pad Thai, spring rolls, and wings. There was absolutely no flavor to anything we tried! There was no seasoning on the pad Thai, absolutely no spice, there was zero color to the dish. To top it off the food was stone cold! I went back to the restaurant asking to speak with a manager and was told that they don’t do refunds!!! Even though I had brought back all of the food with less than a bite missing from each dish he said no refund. He then proceeded to tell me that Thai food isn’t for everyone and that not everyone will like it. I proceeded to tell him that Thai food was not the problem, as I eat Thai food very often because it is my favorite, this food however was just plain awful! Still no refund. So just to be sure that I was not misunderstanding him I said so even though I am not pleased with your food, I am currently a unhappy customer, I am wanting you to do something to remedy the situation but you won’t? He said that that was correct and that they are not a chain burger restaurant! So long story short, I am out of 40 bucks, extremely hungry and extremely pissed off at his lack of customer service and smart attitude!!! DONOTDONOTDONOTEATATTHISRESTAURANT Unless you want pure disappointment. This place gets absolutely ZERO stars from me but I had to put at least one to submit! I told him I would be writing a review and telling all my friends and he just brushed me off. Stay far away guys!

As a Thai person, I do enjoy that this restaurant is completely authentic. The customer service is great, the staff is friendly. I have a few favorite Thai dishes that I’ve grown to favor more than other dishes as I’ve grown up with this type of food. My husband and I visited Ann’s for the first time on Jan 19th. He ordered the beef noodle soup and I ordered a stir fried noodle dish called Pad See Ewe. My husband liked his choice but we do prefer the Vietnamese style vs the Thai style when it comes to noodle soup. I liked mine but it could have been better. Since we’re hours away from where I grew up, I’m constantly on the prowl for a restaurant that serves Asian food similar to the flavored I’ve grown up with. I do prefer Ann’s over all the other Thai restaurants here in Abilene. I didn’t give Ann’s all 5 stars because I wasn’t totally satisfied with the taste of my dish. It was missing a few key ingredients but overall, this was a very pleasant visit and we will return to try other dishes.

Worst meal I’ve had since I moved to Abilene. Period. Nuff said. Nothing more to say. They’re insisting I write more – worst meal ever. Awful, awful, awful, awful, awful and awful.

It’s not the worst place but I was very disappointed. The food taste a bit watered down. I also found it a bit pricy for the size of the food I was given. Pros: It was a quiet environment and the restaurant looks very well taken care of.

When I think of Abilene, Anne’s is one of the first things that comes to mind. I regularly visited Anne’s with close friends, and was always treated with the best customer service. A family owned establishment that takes pride in their high-quality food. Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic Thai food!

Yum! Great little find in Abilene. I love Thai food. It’s a pretty good price too. But a surprising find here :)

The food is spot on! I have been to many Thai restaurants all over the world and this place is definitely up to par. The Pad Woonsen, Spring Rolls, and Thai iced tea are to die for. The staff is always so friendly. I recommend this place to all of my friends/co-workers. It’s amazing!

Small dive where Sechuan used to be located. There are 3 plates always ready to be served. My fave of the three is the panyang curry chicken. Forgive me if I spelled that incorrectly. My spelling might be off, but my taste buds are spot on. Some of the choices can be pricey, but the food is delicious-o!

Ann’s has great red curry, pad Thai and garlic pork. The spring rolls are perfectly crispy. Yes, there are a lot of strange rules on the menu, but the service is friendly and we usually get it to go anyway. They have affordable curry lunch specials too!

Anne’s has for the most part been my fave Thai food place if only because when I say«make it as spicy as you can» I’m simply told«that costs extra» and after adding a dollar to my bill I actually get spicy thai food. I’ve had Thai food cooked for me in my home by Thai friends, and I’ve eaten Thai food on almost every trip I’ve taken anywhere in the US. While I’ve had great Thai food elsewhere this still holds up. I will say this though, the food at Anne’s comes one way, her way. She even put a little insert into the menu warning you.

My first experience wasn’t as good, but I wanted to give them another try today since I’ve been craving Thai food for a while and there’s not much to choose from in Abilene. My friend and I shares the panang curry and padkeemao both w chicken and hot, we loved it. The food was authentic and had the perfect spice and I’m really picky about that. Highly recommend this place. P.s try the Thai tea as well. It’s amazing and not that powdery stuff other Asian places use.

My absolute favorite place to eat in Abilene! The owners are incredibly nice. Not to mention the Pad Thai and Panang coconut curry are to die for! You’re the best Ann!

The owners are very nice and the food is good. It’s kinda hard to know what your getting at first. But that might be because I’m not well versed in the kind of food they serve

I like to frequent Ann Thai’s and have always been treated with genuine and proper courtesy. I’m not sure how the review I just read really happened??? I love the clear noodles and never know the name… my friends and waiter pronounce my meal selection but, I’ll work on that! Love this NORUSH friendly eatery.

I want to update my review. A fellow Unilocaler has informed me it is normal to add your own spices to Thai food. I stand corrected. It’s still good food!

Horrible experience!!! Ordered food on the way to Ann Thai and decided to eat in once we showed up 5 min later. The manager yelled at us for changing our mind and said that they couldn’t serve us for sitdown! What kind of restaurant can’t change an order from takeout to dine in? Just put it in a freaking bowl! Wtf. Do not go here! You’ve been warned.

The good points: Lovely décor inside and staffed with friendly people. The bad: When you open the menu you are greeted with a list of rules. You aren’t allowed to make changes to any dishes, you aren’t allowed to send food back and if a person orders an appetizer as their meal, a $ 5 charge will be added to the tab. It is really, really off putting, especially about not being able to send food back or change an order. I was going to order the Yellow Curry Fried Rice, but they were out of the milk they use to make it with. I wanted to cry. How does one run out of that? They were very apologetic though. My main concern was obtaining something meatless(and I am not a fan of tofu, so that wasn’t an option). My friend was kind enough to inform them that I did not want meat in my pad thai(there was not a meatless version on the menu) and they had no problem doing that for me. I told them that the egg in it was okay and the lady who was cooking came out and told me she would get as much egg out as possible. I was afraid to even ask because of their list of rules and I don’t know why they list such rules. I would easily give them four stars if they removed it. My pad thai could have also used more peanut sauce, but it was still good, as was the jasmine tea both my husband and I had.

I think you have to be a fan of curry/Thai food to go here. I started to feel a little sick after a few bites and I couldn’t quite place the flavors. I got Panang and Red curry. They were not gross, like eating something bad but they were not good either. I could hardly tell the difference between the two also. Service was good, the lady servicing us was very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. This was the reason it doesn’t get 1 star. Good thing my friend with me liked the food because he finished my plate too!

The wait is over! And I’m not impressed. :-(I ordered chicken pad Thai for take out. It was just lacking flavor. Noodles were very dry, barely a taste of fish oil, and no peanut taste. On the plus side, the restaurant was immaculate. Spotless. That’s always nice to see. The hostess was very friendly and gave me a suggestion for what I should try next time. I’ll def be back for something different but they need to step up their ethnic game.
