History
Established in 1978.
The Hobby Shop has been owned and operated by the same family in the same location for 35 years. The store started out selling baseball cards and comic books before adding radio control and trains into the mix. Thirty-five years later it boasts 7,000 square feet of space dedicated to train, comic, sports memorabilia/trading cards, scouting with toys, games, puzzles, crafts and books added into the mix. An Event Area called Event Avenue at The Hobby Shop also provides room for parties, craft projects and special activities.
Known for its variety of products, customer service and knowledgeable staff, The Hobby Shop continues to attract generations of families to its store.

In creating and managing the integration of our marketing plan for the store, I work collaboratively with the owners and managers and with each department about ways to utilize and administer the plan to grow the store and awareness of all that we do here. We are all about fun as well as the place to find helpful and knowledgeable people ready to assist our customers.
In addition, I am website administrator given the task to work on revamping and growing this fairly new aspect of our store. Social media, email marketing are also included in the marketing plans for the store.
