I probably come up to this range about once a year to shoot the Abbotstown NRA .22 Indoor Sectional.
I am not a member, but have been attending this sectional match for the past couple of years. So I can only attest to the indoor .22 range. This sectional is an annual occurrence ran by Neil Kravitz, and is regulated by NRA rules.
The range itself is pretty nice. It is a .22 only 50ft range. They just installed overhead heaters which make a world of a difference at the range. Drafts from the outside are very distracting during the match. Plus, if I wanted to freeze on the range I’d shoot OUTSIDE! The indoor range is on the 2^nd floor on top of the club room.
The club room is also very nice. There is a kitchen area and plenty of table space. This is usually where the shooters hang out awaiting for their relay.
This range is quite a haul from Baltimore. You’ll go through Hanover to get there. Be careful with your GPS, it usually leads us astray so if you are not familiar with the range, print out the directions and allow yourself plenty of time!
