Hall Farm B&B

This very charming and well-​maintained B&B recently reopened after an extensive refurbishment. Its hilltop setting has a panoramic view of the stunning Yorkshire countryside and it’s located just three miles from Castle Howard. Our room was very spacious and well-​appointed, with lovely views of the garden and the lush valley beyond. Because we were doing a long-​distance walk, we ate both our evening meal and breakfast. The food was peerless: free-​range chicken, farm-​fresh eggs, and other fresh and local foods deliciously prepared. We have stayed in more than 50 English B&Bs and this was one of the very best. We would unqualifiedly recommend it.
