We specialise in supplying designer fabrics and wallcoverings from over 40 international brands. Additionally we measure, make and fit curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. We provide a complete professional interior design service as well.

Our work ranges from dressing just one window right up to redesigning and remodelling the entire interior of a whole home. On larger schemes we project manage everything from start to finish including aspects such as lighting, flooring, bathrooms and furniture.

History

Established in 2005.

Fabric Gallery and Interiors grew out of an interior design business founded in 2005 but it took 18 months before the first retail outlet was founded.

Our first home was a tiny shoe-​box of a shop located in Dunnington which we outgrew in six months. Fortunately we could move to a larger shop just four doors along the street.

As business grew, we expanded the team and eventually needed more space. As luck would have it we acquired more space by taking over the first floor space above our original showroom. This gave us space to introduce our own range of custom-​made occasional chairs and, footstools.

Fabric Gallery and Interiors still has its home in Dunnington and this is a convenient destination for visitors from across Yorkshire — we’ve even had people from London, Denmark and Holland walk across the doorstep!

Business Owner

Bronia is co-​founder of Fabric Gallery & Interiors and is our Chief Designer. She studied art and design and specialised in 3D and has had many years teaching experience. She is also a fully trained Interior designer. At Fabric Gallery & Interiors she has a team of skilled advisors, curtain makers, upholsterers and fitters on hand to provide first class service.
