The Manor

Over the past 5 years or so, I’ve often popped into the Manor Hotel for a refreshing break during the day. It is a spacious and welcoming hotel. I’ve found the management very obliging and customer focussed. Just today, I called in again to see the renovations which have been taking place over the past few weeks. They have been tastefully and thoughtfully carried out adding much to the ambience of the building. The spacious new restaurant area is an excellent example of creative planning for growth and for customer enjoyment. The alterations have been tastefully actioned to give a real sense of freshness and change without a complete new scheme. It speaks of quallity planning and thought. The new location for the bar and the function rooms have been modified with finesse. You are welcome to explore the hotel for yourself. I’ve not stayed in the accommodation area or even visited it but I sense it would match the more visible part of the hotel. Recently enjoyed a delicious lunch with a group of friends. The Manor do a special on certain days 2meals for the price of one. Well worth exploring. Global Nomad

A lovely looking building from the front, nicely decorated reception and lounge area. Lovely, bright conservatory for dinner. Staff were always friendly and polite, the only problem was with the room. Everything was clean and tidy but it was very small and could have done with a freshen up! Careful with the stairs too, doors open right on to them, perhaps a little dangerous after a few Christmas drinks!
