Love the live music and ambiance here. I ordered the seafood bouilanesse (however you spell) and it was pretty good. Not crazy about the whole fish in it and only 1 prawn but still good enough. Pricey place but for a weekend trip, splurging is ok.

Amazing little gem right by the sea front in Yarmouth. The pub is downstairs, we had a great lobster and crab, the only tough bit was ‘dealing’ with the creatures as they do not come dressed, you gotta do the hard work and so bits of the claws were all over the shop, but fun none the less. Restaurant upstairs is smarter and good for proper dining kind of thing. The place has a very special atmosphere as they allowed for people to write all over the walls, chairs and just about anything, so it is literally covered in the visitors’ messages. Highly recommended!

This is a brilliant restaurant!!! Be aware though that it only opens for the summer season to cater for the island holiday makers and yachtsmen. Located right on the quay it is a small place, but the fresh fish, lobster and crab is awesome. Long wooden tables are reserved by drawing your name in chalk on them. Live music consists of a guy and his guitar (joining in is actively encouraged). You will not get a better lobster and chips anywhere else!!!

Saltys was recommended to me by various people who all raved about the family run restaurant which prides itself on its fresh seafood caught locally. I went with high hopes and came away pretty disappointed. The food was okay but not incredible. The service was slow even though we went when it was quiet but then it wasn’t so slow that it ruined the experience. It was just okay. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible.

Possibly the best prepared lobster and crab we’ve tasted on our sailing travels… Salty’s is a relaxed family run restaurants providing the best of locally caught fish, all dishes cooked to order by the specialist chefs. The presentation and taste equalls some of London’s top spots but here you have a genuine, original and welcoming atmosphere by waitresses whose father’s ‘caught’ the menu! Highly recommended, good for couple and groups.
