This is actually a very useful shop which sells all kinds of household items including kitchenware, crockery, cutlery, useful little gadgets like wine bottle stoppers etc., and mops and other cleaning equipment. They also sell clothing, toys, stationery, bedding, tablecloths, various household goods, fabric etc. The store is set out over two floors with the fabric, bedding and kitchenware upstairs, along with a really good selection of fabric and haberdashery. Downstairs are toys, clothing, DIY goods etc. Most of the items Boyes sell are very good value for money, and there’s not much I can fault them on. However, I do find the clothing is not that cheap, which is a little misleading as you expect to get the same value on clothing that you do on other goods. The stairs are at the very back of the shop, and there’s a customer lift, too. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing I don’t like about this shop is that whenever I go in they always have those big stock cages blocking the aisles(downstairs anyway). It means you can’t move from one aisle to the next without walking right to the back of the store and coming back down the next aisle.
