Obsidian Content Creation has been in business since January 2015, and founded by Jenii Lowe. She has been writing professionally for the past 5 years, and recently decided to jump head first into the world of freelancing. She specialises in web content, copywriting, brochure and advert copy, proofreading and editing.

I have always had a passion for language, or rather communication as a whole. As soon as my younger self discovered the joys of the Internet, I was hooked. Instant communication (or as instant as a 56k modem would allow) was finally stepping out of the realm of sci-​fi and into people’s homes. I later went on to study ICT at City of Wolverhampton College, and then Computing at the University of Wolverhampton, where my flair for exchanging information was encouraged in a wide variety of projects.

A few years later, following a cross-​promotion into marketing at a successful Midlands furniture firm, I decided I had found my niche. I had a hand in the majority of written marketing content for web and print, though writing projects were often few and far between.

In late 2014, I had a lightbulb moment. Why not create written content for a wider audience? So I founded Obsidian, offering writing services to those that need them.
