Toys ‘R’ Us

Their return policy is shocking, they will not refund/​exchange anything if you took it out off the package. I realised in the house that my baby is too small for the item I bought so next morning went to them for a refund or exchange but rude woman there informed me that she will not take it back as it was opened already. I really have no time to write a long review as I have a little crying baby next to me, but have a duty to warn other mothers that their customer service is a joke. Please do not buy anything expensive from them like pram etc, as if there will be a fault in it they will not refund any money. Go to argos or mothercare instead. In Argos they are always so good with returns if you don’t like the item for any reason. Hopefully I helped someone. I will never shop there again.

Am I an adult allowed to love this shop? I come here and wander round pushing buttons and shaking various toys having a great time. My only wish is that all these toys had been invented when i was a child!

Toys R Us in Woking is a huge store and my daughter loves it. They have a superb collection of indeoor and outdoor toys, bikes and the swings and the soft toys and DVD players and Cameras and what not. Prices are competiive and reasonable. Staff is very helpful and knwoledgable. They always try to help you. From the day my daughter was born till date we have been regular visitor at Toys R Us and shw always finds something. The shelves are always stocked and some of the toys are irrestible. The Toys r Us card is something which I found is crap.

Every toy you could possibly want, the shop is big and spacious and well laid out to make you spend all your money.
There is a good display of bikes and motorised cars and bikes which children always seem to be using in there.
There is plenty of room in the shop to walk round and browse.
They have some good offers and discounts.
The babies r us section is good but not many clothes to choose from.
Easy to find with good car parking.

The range and diversity of items in this shop is impressive; you can find everything from bikes and baby prams, to laptops and musical instruments, with a wide variety of toys in between.
The store is relatively well laid out into sections, although there is little to no sign posting around the store, so if you hadn’t visited before you might find yourself easily lost.
The service at the tills is friendly, although there is often only one member of staff working at a time despite the number of tills available. The aisles are narrow and lined with toys and sweets at low levels to unsubtly encourage last minute purchase additions from parents subjected to pester power.
Overall the store is well stocked and very fun to visit, but the service could be improved.

Huge toy store with every toy imaginable! Dedicated sections so relatively easy to find what you are looking for. Quite a large bike range. Also has a Babies R Us section selling a range of buggies, car seats and other bits, and an electical section (games consoles, laptops, pc’s, cameras etc)
The only problem I have in this shop is that sometimes the choice is too great and I can’t make my mind up!

This is a very large store that is packed with everything toy wise you could ever want! The store is lovely and bright and well laid out in relevant sections and the staff are really hepful.
The only downside is that you can never just pop in and get out as the queues are normally horrendous and its more frustrating when they have empty tills and no staff! Overall a good store but be prepared to wait around.

Toys R Us in Woking is possibly one reason you might travel to the town for shopping. It’s a large store and well stocked with most products.
Staff are generally very helpful, particularly in the bike section and the technology section.
Staff in the Babies R US section will help you fit car seats (just make sure that you park in the Toys R Us part of the carpark).
The store is well laid out and generally well run apart from the tills.
The aisles between the tills are very narrow meaning that even compact buggies have problems getting down them — if you have a double buggy, forget it!
TRU also seem to have a habit of only having one till open, even during school holidays. As a result the queues get really long and what was a pleasant shopping trip turns into a nightmare.
High value items have to be collected after payment and, again, you’ll be in for a wait. Unfortunately the store don’t seem to staff these areas, even when the store is very busy.
The store is open late most nights which can be useful if you have to buy presents for a child without them being there!
