New Look

This large New Look store located on the second concourse of the Peacocks shopping centre, near the building’s main entrance is deceptive in its appearance. Having moved from its smaller location in Wolsey Place several years ago, the shop’s front takes up a reasonable amount of space with window displays. It is only once you go inside the brightly lit store that you end up fully appreciating just how large the store actually is.
The location was originally intended to house Woking’s only Tesco Metro but the project was eventually cancelled, which leaves New Look with a wealth of room in which to display their array of clothes, accessories and shoes. The store itself is brightly lit and inviting, although often very busy with school children and with music sometimes uncomfortably loud.
The prices of clothes are very reasonable, and the quality is better than you might expect. The store also operates a loyalty card scheme, and offers a discount to students. The staff are often youthful, pleasant and genuinely interested in fashion and the products that they are selling.
