History

Established in 2010.

Coolfields Consulting was formed by Graham Armfield after a over fifteen years experience as an Accessibility Consultant and Web Developer with a large financial organisation.

Sandra Armfield also joined the company as a web developer in 2010 after having worked as a IT Trainer and Developer at a large supermarket chain.

Hi, I’ve been involved with the web for nearly 20 years now. From simple beginnings building a website for a band I played with I succeeded in working my way into the web development area of a large financial organisation. I worked on many large public facing websites.

Just over ten years ago I started to learn about web accessibility and quickly became the company expert in web accessibility matters. Answering the needs and requirements of the bank’s customer we tried to make every website as accessible as possible.

During the economic downturn I took voluntary redundancy and started Coofields Consulting. I still enjoy the challenge of building sites that can be accessed by everyone but now enjoy the closer contact with clients that being a small company allows.
