PlumStudy offers private tuition in English, French and Spanish. Study may consist of face to face, skype or group sessions depending on your requirements. We help with exam preparation and study from year 5 upwards.

History

Established in 2015.

I started this business whilst teaching at an Academy. I have been teaching students from year 7 to year 13 in French. This was an incredibly rewarding time and so I wanted to put my skills and experience to further use by privately tutoring students.

Business Owner

Hello, I’m a language tutor living in Cambridgeshire. I am the founder and owner of PlumStudy Language School offering a range of tuition to students from KS2 upwards in French, Spanish and English. I have worked in mainstream education for several years with students aged 11 – 18 and continue to work within an academy teaching French. To date, this has been a hugely rewarding time for me and allowed me to gain the knowledge and experience to be able to make the step into owning and running my own business doing something I love.

In addition to my teaching career, I have also spent time living and working in France, Spain and Germany which means that I have gained a tremendous amount of cultural awareness. I firmly believe that learning a new language is not just about mastering the language itself but equally it is about understanding the cultural aspects too.
