We are an outside catering company showcasing some of the best ingredients from the Wirral and the surrounding areas. We do private chef services, corporate catering, delivered buffets, weddings, christenings and other celebrations. All of our products are made fresh by us.

History

Established in 2012.

The business was formed by Rob Lawson in October 2012, and Wirral Gourmet Ltd was incorporated shortly after. Since then the business has continued to grow gaining more satisfied customers each week from both the commercial and domestic sectors.

Business Owner

Rob started cooking in 1996 at the Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh. With no formal culinary training and not much experience it was a case of sink or swim. 4 years later Rob landed his first head chef job whilst working for Leith’s. Since then he’s never looked back and has enjoyed a career that has taken him all throughout Scotland, England and Wales working at some of the nation’s best restaurants, hotels and conference centres. In 2010 Rob headed oversees to help a former colleague open the massive fresh food court at Galeries Lafayette in the heart of the Dubai Mall. In 2012 Rob decided it was time to launch his much thought about catering company back in his birthplace on the Wirral.
