For a tourist, the biggest attraction of the farm shop must be its coffee shop and the souvenirs section. Let’s start with the coffee shop. I got to the farm shop via the double deck, it’s a stop and must-see. The coffee shop offers a great variety of pastries, cakes, and hot drinks. On a cool autumn day, it’s wonderful to come in, and sit amongst the locals. What I truly loved was the Victoria Sponge Cake. I ate my way through the UK and the farm coffee shop by far offers the BEST victoria sponge cake you will find anywhere. The cakes are moist and the filling fresh and delightful! Come here for afternoon tea, it will be a memory that you shall always cherish. In the shop, they have a great selection of jams and curds. I bought two bottles of lemon curd and lemon/lime curd and now I’m regretting not getting more. It spreads smoothly and the flavors are so fresh and unique(not sure if you can get the same quality lemon curd from a bottle at the Whole Foods!) I already miss the farm shop and will definitely come back if I ever find myself in London again(yes, it’s worth the trip to Windsor just for the shop)

I’m afraid I can’t agree with the previous review. The shop is overpriced and the quality of some things, such as cakes, would be poor at any price. We’ve been a couple of times as we live locally but cannot recommend.

This is a review of the café. We’ve been in the shop a long time ago and it was good, but they’ve expanded it quite a lot so I can’t really comment. We have visited the café twice in recent weeks. Overall it’s a great place to stop by if you’re after a coffee and snack. I was impressed on my first viist by a decent capuccino and a really lovely freshly made chicken and bacon sandwich(lovely fresh bread). £3.85 for the sandwich, but that’s not much different to the cynical, minimal filling pre-packaged rubbish in the chains. See pics. Second visit was a bit more mixed. Samd sandwich just as good. Mrs B’s pasty was quality but microwaving just made it soggy. We’d have been happy to wait a little longer to have it heated in an oven if that had been an option. My capuccino was sadly made on this occasion by someone who did not know what they were doing. It was just filled with hot milk and thin film of foam on top with the cup so full it was impossible to carry without it slopping out everywhere. Quite poor. Service is very pleasant however and hopefully that was a blip so I’ll keep trying them.

This is the best food shop I’ve seen outside of San Francisco. Make sure you are very hungry when you arrive. They have beautiful produce and meats from the Royal farms and other local suppliers. And millions of yummy cheeses and desserts and other groceries. There are also tables outside where you can eat. Bring the kids, bring the dog!
