I have to tell you all about this bridal shop.
I live in Hereford, a long distance from Western.
We decided to get married and arranged everything in 3 weeks, whilst our daughter was only 4 weeks old. After browsing the web I came across Big Beautiful Brides. After calling the owner I had an appointment at short notice (3 HOURS) and found my beautiful wedding dress, for my wedding that was held on 9^th September 2009 (09−09−09). They had all the accessories, veil, tiara, necklace, everything that I needed. I even purchased a second gown for our wedding garden party, which was held a few days later.
I needed 3 fittings, (especially as my body was changing due to child birth). As it was short notice they arranged for the dress alterations to be completed whilst I was in the shop, to ensure a prefect fit, before I took both gowns away.
Yes, it a was nerve racking time, hoping that all would be completed in time, but the shop owner put me at ease.
The owner and her assistant even came to our home in Hereford on the morning of my wedding to dress me, to make sure I looked perfect and travelled to our wedding venue to ensure I looked perfect to walk up the aisle.
You can not really put into words what this bridal shop done for us to make our day perfect.
Oh by the way … we got married at 09.09am on 09−09−09.
They travelled to Hereford arriving at 07.00am
from Western, to help me get ready.
WHAT A BRILLIANT SERVICE !!!

I bought my wedding dress from BBB and like the previous post was delighted with the design and quality of work the dress was gorgeous. I bought the dress there and then off the rail to pick up in 1mnths time when it was supposed to have been altered along with a evening gown I ordered through them. It took me over 2mnths to get my dress, it was filthy (not so when I tried it on in the shop despite being off the rail), a size smaller, no garment bag or box, they promised to post one but never received it. The formal dress never turned up and they never retuned my payment of £164 ended up getting the money back from my credit card company. Was told by the owner that a refund would be made to my card, not so and then told a cheque would be sent, never received it. All in all they caused me so much stress, stole from me and lied repeatedly I cannot recomend them, unless you buy your dress and walk out of the store with it there and then you could end up with a massive headache.

As with most larger ladies, I was dreading the wedding dress shopping. Then I found out online about this most wonderful shop where you could make a 2 hour appointment and have the shop to yourself to try on wedding dresses.
I knew I didn’t want a completely white dress, and incredibly they had the most beautiful ivory and claret dress. This was the first and only shop I actually went to. The dress designs are gorgeous and I never in one million years thought I would look good in a wedding dress. But so many people at the wedding were amazed, and the groom was surprised and very touched.
The shop is incredible and makes you feel very special. We were lucky as we live within easy travelling distance. But there are others who travel literally hundreds of miles and stop overnight, which just shows the quality of service and the fact that so few places seem to cater for the larger bride. They really do a brilliant job.
