Bagel & Shake

We ended up here after a gig in an area we rarely frequent, aside from kebabs, fries or southern fried chicken not a lot was on offer until Bagel and Shake. This 24 hour haven (apparently a second store followin the one in Ealing) has a mass selection of confectionary based milkshakes (think nestle, Cadbury, rowntree etc… but without the trademarks in the shake names!) and then the bagel menu…
After much deliberation it was a hot bagel rather than chilled — the new yorker. A generous handful of salt beef, swiss cheese, American mustard and all topped off with a mound of gherkins. Heaven in a (vaguely) healthy snack. Rather than the usual late night dreary dull bland flavourless junk food I would definitely recommend here, I’d probably even grab lunches here on a regular basis if I lived in the area.
If we’re in the region again will be a certain re-​visit!
